Arizona - Fry's, Basha's, Safeway and Albertson's
Since AZ has several unique stores (Basha's is only in AZ and our Albies is owned by the LLC) we'll just make this thread about all of the deals we find. :)

At Fry's don't forget there is also crest toothpaste and oral-b toothbrushes for $1.00 each. I'm sure there are a few P&G Q's from the last insert that will work. And speaking of P&G inserts, I got another one in my AZ Rep this morning. So be sure to check yours.
At Bashas they also have Hunt's Snack Packs for $1.00. Use Q from last Sunday's insert for .30 off and they double, so .40 each. |

[QUOTE=qian;30976280]Thanks Deb. :heart:
I love taking long showers too and a lot of lotion afterwards. One time my younger one said to me: Mommy can you just put one thing on your face? :lmao: Qian, you are too cute. I was talking about there being a rain shower.:rain: But hey maybe I could go outside and take a shower and save on my water bill and give the coyotes something really to shout about. I should learn to load all the EQ's...argh. Mark, thanks again for the CK Q's. |

Guess I will get some GC next time at frys then. :D Aother question about prescription: I might need some meds pretty soon . :( How can I take advantage of the $25 frys credit when I fill the prescription? Should I give it to another phamacy first then ask frys to tranfer it? (I feel it's kinda not nice to the other phamacy . what if they fill it really quickly before frys transfers it?) I have never done it before so any help will be very much appreciated. |

That's interesting. The only Frys/Kroger item we bought was the cottage cheese. I just assumed it adjusted to the $2 shelf price. We were undecided what to buy to use the $3, and didn't realize the cottage cheese would trigger it. (I checked my ecoupons and the $3 is gone, but it does not show up as redeemed.) |

Went to Albies today just to check on a couple of things found the following:
0.50/1 any variety egglands best eggs, no expiry date, TP 55/1 Yoplait 32 oz, blinkie 1/purchase of 8 oz or more Finlandia Cheese, TP on deli counter |
Does anyone have any Pedigree Qs to spare?
I have 6 B&Js Qs 1$/1 pint to trade! Or let me know what else you could use If noone wants to trade for the B&J, I will wait until the weekend and then these will go to a good home for a SASE, no trade necessary... |

I have managed to talk the Pharmacist at my grumpy Frys once into giving me the credit with a new prescription. She would not do it the second time though. I went to the nice Frys and they did not want to do it at all. It's a YMMV thing, but at least you could try. I did not want to do the transfer game, but Frys also matches pharmacy Qs. Target at the time had a 10$ for a NEW prescription thing, so I took that to Frys and they gave me the 10. Yeah, 25 would have been better, but I still was happy! HTH |
Has anyone run acrosss the new 35¢ Nesquik coupon that expires 12/31? Looks exactly like the previous one. There are a slug of them on eBay so curious where they are getting them. Been scoping out Circle K but haven't seen them there. (That's where we found the previous ones.)

Hi, Guys
Do anyone have any Axe q's for bodywash BOGO to trade! Thanks:) |

Yesterday, I found many of those hefty peelies at one fry's, and so I tried to use them at 2 different fry's but got shot down both times. The first fry's ended up doing it for me at customer service almost as a favor to me. At the second store, the young gentleman told me they don't double "do not double" coupons. He even went out of his way and suggested that he finds for me where it said that in writing. He finally found it, and it actually said that they DO double all coupons even those that say "do not double". I asked him if I could keep that little booklet, and he said yes. If any of you would like a real pamphlet rather than just printing out their policy, it is found at cs and it's a 3-page thing, red and white at the front, and it says "Fry's Food Stores.... Your #1 Store in Arizona since 1960!" And it has the picture of the president, Jon Flora on the front. You might have to ask for it. |

Got a new cat notification last night at Frys for SnackWell's Cereal Bars:
Between 7/11/11 and 8/7/11 Buy 1 and get $1 OYNO Buy 2+ and get $3 OYNO The cat mentions these are a new product, so I'm crossing my fingers that we'll get a coupon that will stack well with these. Anyone know how much these things run? |
thanks for all the replies to my question. will rep soon. ( Repped !! :D)
is there any coupon for new prescription at any phamacy lately? I do need one now then transfer it to frys after the first fill. thanks |

No inserts in LaVoz Edited to add: I have NEVER run into anyone at any of the 10 LaVoz stands I have to choose from, in well over a year, NEVER. Today I saw at least a dozen people as I drove on by and 1 stand (the most obvious one) was completely empty. Gotta love it. Good thing I am a highly competitive person  Qian: Qs finally went out today! I'm so sorry, it's been crazy around here!! |

On a side note, everytime I walk into fry's now, everyone has coupons in their hands, so I'm not surprised if all the food city ads or lavoz are gone nowadays. Tuesday, I was at a fry's and this other lady was doing a cereal deal, which I'm not aware of. Self checkout lady told her she could only use 3, and the lady said "So how are they able to get like $1000 worth of things on tv? How do you allow that?" Self checkout lady said "Well, they aren't supposed to let you do that!" |

Check eBay for those coupons and a Phoenix seller. No one could be "using" that many coupons. The only 2 that interested me were the Cherrios and Twizzlers and I have enough of those for now. Coupon offers on Freecycle are gone immediately. I only get the daily recap because I don't want all those mainly "wants" cluttering up my mailbox, so I never bother to respond to those offers anymore. Altho I am not sure that that many Food City ads would have resale value since only Fry's will accept them, except Food City of course. They could be getting the pop at either place and selling at yard sales or swap meets? My Food City LaVoz rack was empty the last couple Friday afternoons too. I did find a couple Sat morning at a site I will not menton. That site I notice has moved the LaVoz rack to be in line of sight from inside. Probably because on recent previous visits I have found all were gone on Friday. I expect we have a lot of lurkers here and at Sheryl's taking advantage of our finds but not providing any input. |

I notice the site were I pickup the LaVoz paper, the rack are empty and laying on the ground.I guess people are getting mad and upset because all the paper are gone.. |

 Hi all!! Missed you guys. We finally sold and moved to Colorado, so no more Fry's , but still have City Market and Safeway (and finally, finally a Target in driving range ) Found a couple of things you might have your way also,
Tearpads at Wally for .50/1 Kraft BBQ (making it a mm right now) along with a .50/1 Velvetta mac & cheese (12 oz. size) Also, the Morningstar books in the freezer section are new and there is a $1/1 Ronzoni Garden Delight on the back making it free this week. Hoping to get back into the swing of things next week for the coming mega, (really need gas money built up, used it all traveling grrr) Hope you all are doing good. Heard about your dust cloud, will try to read back a bit and catch up on you all. Oh, just remembered. Pepsi 2lt part of mega next week. (.74) There are hangtags for $1/2 when you buy hamburger. May want to grab some of those also. |
What do you all think is the best item to buy with this week's Fry's EQ ($3 off any Private Label Fry's or Kroger brand item) for maximum savings?
|
Quote:

I was thinking a gallon of Fry's milk, but that's under $3. I wonder if their paper towels or toilet paper are a good value?

I ended up getting their Fry's cooked shrimp which is on sale this week for $4.99 (normally $7.99) |

HI CB  Thanks for stopping by. I'm sure you are enjoying COOL Colorado! Yikes another mega starting next week! Looks a tad more interesting than our current one. Read about it HERE |
Waving to everyone! I fell off the couponing train for the last week or so. I had a bunch of house stuff going on and couldn't wrap my head around the deals so I skipped them. Getting back in the game today but I have lots of catching up to do on the Hefty bags :woot: I did take advantage of the double pts on gc's at fry's and bought a new tv at Best Buy using gc's from frys. Nice way to get a buck off of gas!
If any of you guys like Harold's up in Cave Creek there is a groupon deal today for pay 10 get 20 and their menu is pretty cheap to begin with. Also, if you might want to join the email listing for the Melting Pot. I got an email from them this week for a nice menu for 29 bucks each for 4 or 25 bucks for groups of 5 or more. As expensive as that place can get now that they've gone a la carte, great value. The deal doesn't start until the 17th and runs till the 31rst. It's a "Christmas in July" promo and also, if you wear a Christmas hat or vest you get a free Melting pot chocolate bar. Taking a few people to dinner and bet they'll be "all in" for the freebie:D |

Thanks for the HU on the Mega next week. Does sound a lot more interesting. We had to fill in the last two weeks with Hefty and Cheerios to get to 10. I think we are Heftied into the next century (along with incandescent light bulbs lol) Dang. I wish Fry's carried Aunt Jemima French toast. I just finally snared 2 $1 coupons. Some motels on our travels serve it and it is okay for a quick breakfast. (Hey, we made some real French toast last week using a vanilla flavored creamer - wonderful. Thanks for that info too.) Speaking of light bulbs: My wife was at a board meeting Wed and somehow the subject of light bulbs came up, and every single person at the meeting admitted to stockpiling them. There will be a black market for them I'm sure. Anyone successful getting any Libby vegetable coupons? I got a couple fruit, that's all. |

update:
got a pack of kroger ground pork at 3.29 and the $3 eq came off. :D My frys had similac infant formula on clearance for 1.10 , if you still have the $3 or $5 off 1 coupon , then good overage. I just looked through my coupon piles and found out I threw them away. I just want to  Puffy: got the envi today. thank you so much!! off to CVS. if you go to wm, there might be $1 peelie on complete so $1 mm at cvs next week. |
I got some Kroger chicken at 4$ and notting came off
Also all my Fys mailer Qs did not go, she could not even override them...(had ice cream and Danone Qs) I am coming back to my Ben and Jerrys offer. Seems nobody had any Pedigree Qs left, soooo Free to a good home for a SASE: 6 B&Js Qs 1$/1pint exp 10/1/11 Wish you all a great Sunday!! |
OT...
Free food for Dave's at Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que Come on, you Daves! We’ve got America’s favorite BBQ and on August 14, it’s got your name on it. FREE ENTRÉE (up to $15) for every Dave, David or Davy in the house on Sunday, August 14!* And if your middle name is Dave, David or Davy you’ll get your entrée for half price (up to $7.50)!* *For dine-in and TO GO orders. You must be a Dave, David or Davy and you must present a photo ID to receive your entrée. Sorry, last names don’t count. Only one offer, per Dave, per day. Participating locations only. |
had a quick run at my cvs this morning. I am not sure if it was my store so just FYI. All the Garnie stuff were not tagged and the prices were still regular price. The cleaners should be $5. anyway the cashier gave me the sale price and I did get the $5 EB on the receipt. the limit was not reached at 1. So just check the price at the scanner to make sure they will not over charge you.
Also found few 55c off planter Peanut butter TP at WM the other day. They were laying around on the shelf not by the peanut butter stuff at all. very strange. also found the little WM booklet for cereal stuff. it says store coupons but they all start with 5 so actually all MQs. TP for 75c kelloger's fiber plus cereal. have a good Sunday qian :D |
Got a Kroger Pork tenderloin and the EQ did not come off (mine never do). I'm used to this so I took my print out to CS and they gave me the $3 no problem. Total OOP $0.89 :)
I did have an issue with the Hefty $0.15 coupons... CS said they wouldn't make them a dollar. Despite me asking politely several times... "isn't the policy all manufacturer's q worth a $1"... CS said this is a "product" coupon ... and I gave up, as the coupon no where says "manufacturer" coupon... Anyone else ever have this problem? I have never heard of a "product' coupon. |
Quote:
Thanks, Sheryl! |
Quote:
There is also a $1/2 from 4/10 RP & $1/2 in today's (7/10) RP .. That's the one I ended up using... but was going to use the $0.15 if they made it worth a $1. |
Does anybody else have problems printing TQs?
I have been gettin the "this site has stopped working" error message for days now. It keeps opening the tab and shows its printing and then the Qs are gone without any printout, as the system thinks I have printed them already. Same on hubbys computer. Just wondering if anyone else had this issue, as I can't seem to find others with the same issues. The only thing I found dates back to 2009 I have restarted both computers etc. Using IE 8 |

What specific coupons are you trying to print? Is it a new problem, have you changed any software, updated your virus protection? I have had no trouble with coupon.com type coupons, but in general can't print anything from Smartsource for awhile now. Sometimes I get that same message and I know I haven't printed the Q, and I think it's just the sites way of saying there are no further prints of that particular one. Have you tried printing from Firefox or another browser? |

had a quick trip to frys. I was VERY surprised to see over 30 cans of similac formular on clearance were gone. I just mentioned it yesterday. I followed the wording on the coupon: ONE per Transaction. so I only bought 1 and was going to buy another one today. Guess someone beat me to it and mostlikely took them all (to get the overage). well, I don't know any regulars here are from south chandler except Cindy and I. I know I have no hard evidance but hoesntly I am pretty sure someone read it (a lot of people know where I shop since I mentioned it before) and went bought them all. To whoever did it , I will say "shame on you!" . we all want to say money but making it this far is really unethical. Anyway, I will think twice before I put something on the thread again. (or we will go underground as the couple times we did before. Being so gready is getting a little bit annoying!! )
anyway, enough OT. Got a catalina today 7-11 -- 8-7 Oscar Mayer hot dogs buy 3 get $2 buy 4 get $3 buy 5 + get $4 darn I just bought 2 . if you still have the TP from gas station a while back: 55c off ANY Osca mayer product. it will work better than the $1/2. along with the 75c off TQ. Xi: the envi will go out tomorrow. planned to go to the post office to weigh it but was a little bit too mad after the frys trip. will send it out tomorrow morning. :D |
Thanks to you all for your answers regading printing.
Still have not found any answers on the web. Quote:
IE stops working and I get an error message, this has stopped working. then the program closes the page and restore the tab so it goes into an endless closing and restoring... I tried Google Chrome and it said I need to install the printer, which I know I have.... it's really weird. I was going for the bread and eggs one, the pillow, the hefty bags the kraft cheese... some of the newer ones...all of those I am sure I have not printed!! |

But truth of the matter this could have been anyone. Even just a frugal mum, who wanted to stock up without Qs. I have seen something on clearance at my frys a couple of weeks back and when I went back a couple of hours later with my Qs, everything was gone!! That was only within a few hours!!! Sometimes that just happens! Hope you find another deal!!! Hope you all are enjoying your Sunday! I had a wonderful girls chat afternoon and let a couple of friends (that had seen the TLC show) in on what couponing really is = strategic shopping, NO shelf clearing and TP harding! In case you haven't realised the Private Selection Q expires today.
Got some PS lunchmeat and the 3$ came off plus the 0,55 EQ for lunchmeat. Awesome deal! AlsoCheck your TP/blinkie stash! I realised I had 2 TPs and 2 blinkies for Kraft Big Slices or Cracker Barrel 1$/1 stack those with the 1,50/3 or 1/2 Kraft TQs, makes them 50 cents a pack. Awesome deal on Swiss cheese slices and they won't expire until Sept. Will be long gone by then 3 packs cheese, one pack lunchmeat = 2.01 incl tax OOP, not too shabby!:D |

anyone has $2/10 smartwater TP ? That is the only bottle water I like right now. Will trade for whatever couipons, TP or peelies. Thanks. :D
|
The "lost" $1 from last week's $3 ecoupon came off today. Last week we bought more than enough milk and cottage cheese to cover the $3, but only $2 came off. Today I bought more milk and the $1 came off. So no need to stand in the CS line.
|
just looked at Frys ad. The kraft salad dressing will be part of mega. remeber to dig out your TP coupon : buy 2 kraft salad dressing and get $1 off produce , combined it with either b2g1 TQ or $1/2 TQ. (I found mine a while ago at WM). if you found the cereal coupon book lately at WM, the 75c off kelloger will work great with the mega. (again, the coupon says store coupon but it is actually a MQ, will auto double to $1)

I can't be the only one that is totally unimpressed with Fry's these last 3 weeks???
I'm going to force myself in to scout for sales/clearance, buy some Smartwater at 25¢ since it will make DH happy and then I'm out for the rest of the week. Maybe I can finally get that bathroom remodel that I started a month ago done, you think? If anyone is going to the movies this weekend, I have a few $3 off your ticket "E-Movie Cash" vouchers as well as 2 tickets to see Cars 2 (up to $7.50). PM me and they'll go out to the first 4 peeps. I have to mail them since I didn't keep the pdf info when I won them :rolleye: but you should have them in hand by the weekend if I mail ASAP! Edited to add, these don't expire until August or September. |

Hi All!
I'm happy to see the $6/$30 F&E coupon , way better than the one in the paper. At the same time, I prefer the $5/$25 one :) But I'm not complaining! I'm curious what everyone's favorite "filler" is for this coupon. Many times, especially with the $3/$30 one, I find my self about $10 short .... and stuck trying to figure out if it's worth it to spend the extra $4 (the net)... sometimes I find something.. and sometimes I don't. So I want to make a list of "go to" F&E fillers :) Especially anything that doesn't go on sale often, etc. Would love to know what you guys and gals think. Thanks! |

Has anyone printed the Seventh Generation coupons? For a green, green, green company, they sure like to waste paper since their coupons print in the middle of the page. (I know I can print other coupons on each end if I know they will print first.) I just thought it amusing for these so called green advocates to do that. And the rescinding the light bulb bill did not pass yesterday in Washington, so we are stuck with the new, expensive, hazardous if broken, made in China bulbs beginning next year. But we have stockpiled (always at super deals) enough incandescent bulbs in all sizes to carry us beyond the grave. Including those big round ones that go in our 2 bathroom vanities. |

ok just got back . a quick report:
30% of eq came off no problem. but do remember to scan the highest item FIRST since the 30% will come off on the first item from the home dept. I bought a Unity cart . it's 29.99 on sale and took off $9. I have always wanted to buy one of those so the 30% worked great. Bought 4 Colgate tooth pick thing but no cats printed out. Does anyone have more information on this catalina so I can email them? I thought it would be $1.5 OYNO for every 2. It would be a total waste of money if there was no catalina. Those things are terriable and 50c for a pack is not worth it. If someone is planning to do it, maybe wait till the confirmation. No much others. bought 12 bottle smart water, used my one and only 2/10 and 3/12 WF coupon, bought 1 vitamin water and used the WF 50c . I talked to the shift manager when I walked into the store and she mentioned there have been a lot of new couponers lately since the TLC EC show. (go figure.) a lot of people are trying to take advantage of the competitor policy and use a lot of same coupons (such as the vitamin water coupon from WF). She said some people would yell at them if they didn't get their way and in most cases those people were actually wrong and didn't know the policy. She mentioned that Target has changed to 3 coupons in one tran. and more retailers might follow the step. darn. some people just have to ruin it I guess. :( have to go. if anyone has more information on the colgate toothpick thing, please share. thanks a lot. |

 I went to Fry's and guess what the system considered my 30% item to be? a Dawn sponge  How on earth did it decide that? So......no tv for me today! We went to my fave Fry's to start this weeks deals and I told my bf to make sure I didn't buy anything homestore, Krogerish, batteries, etc. Who knew it would consider a sponge? Seriously saved me some money but...grrrrrr. I observed 2 EC's today for the first time. It was both amusing and crazy. One of them did the classic"pick up the display and dump the entire contents into the cart" routine and the other had brought bungie cords (yes, bungie cords!) to have a line of carts filled with the waters. It was unbelievable. My fave cashier said that on Sunday he had a customer cutting out coupons at the register and wanted him to take the paper back to the stand since coupons are FREE! omg! He charged her for the paper! :D

The bungie cord thing...wow...just wow. Harold, forget all the green reasons regarding the light bulbs, I hate them because they aren't as bright and I can't see the stupid print on my coupons! |

[QUOTE=Desflower;41001808]Ah, Jane I feel your pain. Last time I had the household discount it took it off a .50 package of birthday candles. :lmao: I wonder if it will work on water softener tablets, I need those.
Good suggestion on the water softener tablets. I usually buy a 40lb bag of Morton brand for $3.98 at Lowes. If the 30% off works on it, let me know and how much it cost. |

I hope they aren't reselling this stuff. I've noticed that some coupons say "Coupons not authorized if purchasing items for resale." I'm sure the manufacturers wouldn't be too happy either. If you search Craigslist and type in "Schick", "Stockpile" "Nivea" "Colgate" or any brand of product for which there was a good deal in the past, you'd be amazed at what you can find. I think more people upset about this should start flagging these ads. The more an ad gets flagged, the more likely it will be removed, sending the seller a message. |
I wonder if pool items like chorine, acid, shock etc are considered "home items."

Gee Jane - a sponge! Fry's must really be having fun doing this to us. I haven't loaded mine yet, (if it is still there) but may try for some pool chemicals since we don't have a marketplace.
So how was the rest of your day with the progressive food party? |

Total OT :soapbox:
I've been thinking on this for a few days now... If Fry's wants to let someone buy 1000 of something then I'm mad at Fry's. I stopped being mad at the couponer when Fry's blatantly said "We'll do anything, break any rules for some TV time". Most of us don't want to bite the hand that feeds us though and find it easier to be mad at the random person off of the street who we feel is stealing our deals. RE Resellers: I don't resell, I have never even had a garage sale. Aside from the fact that I don't have enough product, I am not smart enough and am too lazy. I do know though, that some people in this thread resell and that many, if not most, of the top contributors to the drugstore/grocery forum resell. I know that the insider tips of the people that do this professionally have been invaluable. I also know that some of the vets have stopped posting their tips publicly because of the negativity surrounding reselling. Did it irritate me to see some lady on craigslist selling 60 John Frieda's when I could find none?? Yup, but what am I going to do? Get all of my coupon buddies to rough her up?? I don't know her story, maybe she is a selfish bitch or maybe she sells and gives all of the money to her local charity/shelter/church :dontknow: If I see illegal activity I will report it to the appropriate authority, anything else I will just start complaining to my cat (who cares what I think just about as much as you guys  ) and do as my DH tells me and Chillax! I don't like me very much when I am all worked up over someone else's couponing  |
Fry's:
Look for Skinny Cow candy bar cardboard displays near endcaps. They are on sale for 2/$1 and the tearpad at the top of the display is for 75¢/2 = free candy (these are really good too!). I NEVER see tearpads so you guys should find them easy peasy! |

Many who buy in quantity (I HATE the use of the term,"hoarder" -- just because someone buys 10 or 20 of something doesn't make them a hoarder) have different family needs/requirements than myself and I won't subject my personal parameters on others. I think that is dangerous territory. You are right about taking issue with Fry's. If someone is purchasing according to their stores' policy, and a manager/supervisor gives the nod for the sale, then the beef is with the store not the consumer. No one knows if someone bought that water for disaster ridden areas, firefighters fighting numerous fires, or homeless needing water during the summer heat. Similarly, when an item is out of stock, or a clearance item vanishes, it cannot be assumed a couponer bought it. All that being said, I think that teaching others to shop efficiently, wisely and with resourceful and prudence is the best we can do for others. Let the individual decide how much of something they need. If we REALLY want quantity limits, take it to the store personnel and address it. We may not like all the results that would bring, though. Thanks again puffy! :bluesbro: :hide: |
Good morning all! I apologize if I started something by posting about the two imho EC's last night. It was not my intention at all. I was more amused by the situation than anything. It was almost theatrical watching the production and yep, I will be able to do my deals so they had zero impact on my ability to purchase the items I want. Anyway, Sorry. Happy shopping everyone!

packing for our little getaway in the moutains. :D It's actually not too bad lately but i would still prefer cooler. The FIRST brand new CVS has opened up in Showlow and I am so pumped up. sadly no frys, no target.

A little OT - I got an email today for an extra 25% off at the Gap Outlet or the Banana Republic Factory store for the 16th (discount is increased to 30% if you spend more than $75 at Gap or $100 at BR). I can't figure out how to post a direct link, but if anyone wants a copy PM me your email address and I'll forward it on. :)
This does work on clearance and sale items (most of the Gap items are an extra % off anyway). |
Went to SW today to get he Yoplait, hoping for the cat.
At 10/6 They are more expensive at SW. When the go on sale at Frys they are around 10 for 4 But I had Qs and thought with the cat it would be a good deal..... duh...didn't realise cat won't start until tomorrow!! How stupid! Also got a mailer for SW 10$ off 50 and a bunch of free stuff, so I am not complaining. Got a ton of free items with my yogurt. Tortilla wraps, Salsa, Dressing, Salad, cheap frozen chicken... Anybody knows what triggers those mailers, I haven't had one in a long time. |

So what's everyone using the 30% ecoupon for? Except a sponge. We were on an errand today and went by a Marketplace so had to stop. Hoping to find a laundry hamper since the lid just fell off ours after only 47 years. And use that $10 T bathroom coupon too. They had a couple, but nothing interesting. Which means they didn't look like our 47 year old one.
So got a wire brush for the pool. Saved all of $3.30. Didn't see any TVs. Another customer was telling us some Marketplaces are bigger and better than others. So even a pecking order there too. |
Quote:
Good news, my 30% came off. Bad news, it did NOT come off the Kroger brand Salt pellets which were $3.89, and the first item that was scanned. Instead, my .45 came off the coffee filters which were free to begin with. This is coupon karma getting me cause I laughed at Jane and her sponge. :lmao: |
Quote:
|
Quote:
There you go. Another snicker enjoyed by the Fry's ecoupon programmer. Obviously it is programmed to not attach to the first designated item that is scanned, but waits around until it finds the cheapest possible item. All the more reason to buy only the item you want to use that ecoupon for, and nothing else in that transaction. |
Harold, You are so right! Next time.......
Des, sorry for your incredible value..lol. :D We had a great day out shopping! Vitamin wateraplenty, FREE Breyers, FREE summer games from Target (plus, there were sooooo many and we gave out some q's to people and they were so grateful, and a cool deal at Safeway with the Bob Evans side dishes. They are on sale for 2.99 and if you use the bogo q, it autodeducts 4.99 :D so, 2 side disses for 99 cents! :woot: Now, hope they are tasty. If not, the convenience factor has to be worth something, right? Plus, I betcha they are satisfaction guaranteed so nothing a phone call can't take care of. Oh, and we picked up the FREE B2P 3 pks of pens from Staples! woohhooo! I like those pens! Looking forward to seeing what other BTS deals will be out this week! |
Hope you all are enjoying your weekends.
I didn't feel like grocery shopping this weekend, so we lived off the stockpile. I so need to go to Frys to get at least one Megarun in, but I am dreading it. I went to Target tonight though to check on a few TQ items and found the Goldn Plum chicken not too bad a deal. There is a 2$/2 TQ and smartsource.com has a 1$/1 MQ Chicken is 3.49-4.99 a pack depending on size and variety. We got the ground chicken for 3.49, so after Qss 1.49 each I had 3 J&J Qs left so that helped a bit. So we have brand new first aid kits now, which will come in handy for upcoming hiking trip HTH someone. Also hangtags for HonesTea at Target! |
HI All.. sorry this may be a bit off topic.
Anyone in the Phoenix area have a subscription to All You? I haven't gotten my August one yet, and I can't remember exactly when it comes, but I feel like it should have arrived a week ago or so. TIA... Harold, I was hoping to use my 30% eq on a new computer desk, my Fry's only had 1 desk and it didn't' fit my needs... so now I'm thinking I should get a sponge ;) |
Quote:
What did you get? Our SW only has a couple kinds of mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. BE has a good apple side dish, but I have never seen it here. (Have had it with meals in their restaurants back in Ohio.) Were you able to use the $1 printable for the buy one? I do have some of those. Not sure what SW's rules are on using a ¢ off coupon with a BOGO. |
I used just the bogo since it was a 14 :) but I am now wondering if Safeway cares about 14's or not? hmm. I got the mashed potatoes and the mac and cheese because those were the only kinds they had at my store. Btw, Poore Bros chips have .50 cent peelies on them. A very nice coupon indeed!
I'm on my way to Target to get my Scotch tape :woot: Then, on to Carl's Jr. for my 70 cent Famous Star! yippee! I'll report back on my plaid experience upon my return. |

The Shea&Tatum is my Fry's!! :) I go super early.... and it's like I own the store. I have only seen people at the wine bar once (but probably b/c I go so early). My favorite thing, was one time there was lady dressed up as a cow... carving a huge block of cheese. It was awesome! BTW... there is one cashier with Red hair... she's nice.. but a real stickler when it comes to coupons. There is an older guy that works the self check out a lot, he is super super nice. And there is a blonde lady... I wish I could remember her name... but she is my favorite. She always has a smile on her face .... |
If you belong to Culver's, this month's coupon is good for a free scoop of their frozen custard in a cone or cup. I do love that place.

11 Crackerfuls coupons for 1.00 off wyb 1 Ritz Crackerfuls filled crackers (6 oz. variety) exp 7/31. These pair nicely with the Target 1.00 off q and the crackers are 2.40 a pkg. 40 cents for a pkg. isn't bad if you like them. We don't :D also, 9 Digiorno pizza and cookies q's for 1.50 off, exp 7/31 Wishing everyone happy shopping! If I can get some advice, I'd appreciate it. I'm considering getting the Acer that Target has on sale for 249 and you get a 50 buck gc with it. I'd also like to get a printer. I have not signed up for their red card as I believe cash is king. I know they have a debit card and was thinking maybe I should do that to get the 5% off. My ? is this. Does the 5% come off at the register or do they accumulate or how does that work? Is the 5% off the way to go for the computer and then apply the 50 gc to the printer? and can I use my 5% card for the balance of the printer cost? Clear as mud I bet but I'd appreciate any help. The other option I am considering is to go to Fry's, buy Target gc's so I get the points towards my gas and make the deal a little sweeter that way. HELP! :woot: |

I don't even know if they still do 10% off on your first Red Card purchase, but if they do, you may want to buy your laptop and printer in one shot ( unless it would be really hard to spend the gift card later on ). |

Thanks for your response! I saw many of these water slider thingies yesterday at target, but had no idea that there was a coupon for them :( biiiig ;(
I remember telling harolds on here that when i'm doing deals, and i get a bad experience, all my deals for the next few days are difficult, and they were. At Fry's, I was told I can only use ONE seventh gen. whole foods coupon (i had 3). The "manager" came over, and he was very rude and condescending, and he showed me the memo. I told him that it was only regarding the vitamin water, but he said it wasn't. He added that they have to go by what the competitor coupon's rules are, and so if it says "one per purchase", that means I can only use ONE. He looked at me like I was an idiot when I explained to him the difference between purchase and transaction. Does anyone know if that memo pertains to all competitor coupons (1 like comp./transaction)? I had an unusual experience at Fry's today. The cashier doubled the WF vitamin water q's and I said that I thought she had made a mistake since they were competitor coupons and she insisted that the competitors q's were worth a dollar too:D My oh my. Oh well, at least I pointed it out to her so I don't feel bad about my deal. :)

In Target news, the Ashler hills store in far North Scottsdale will be getting a fresh food dept in October. I can't wait. |

Back to the heat/dust and back to the couponing/shopping. :D went to Frys and could not even find ONE single smart water. :( there were so many empty shelves. I ran into a friend who doesn't use coupons and she even mentioned that she could not find the stuff she wanted to buy. Hope it will get better next week. Deb: Got the coupons in the mail. Thank you so much!! will rep when I can. :hug2: Puffy: Got the tickets too. Might have to have those tonight for dinner :) My Safeway had some MorningStar burgers on clearance 50% of $3.49. With the $1/1 Morning Star printable [morningstarfarms.com], it made it $0.75 ! The expire dates on the burgers are 4/2012 so they aren't being cleared for expiration reasons, it may be to make room in the freezer. I wrote Sheryl about it and she said her SW had them too... so if you have a vegetarian in the house keep your eyes open! BTW... if you got that Safeway postcard in the mail with the free coupons... don't forget to use them.. they expire 7/31.. I got free salsa, tortillas, rice and frozen peas! |
