Oh man, where to begin.
If you're looking for something truly different, try some Chimay Ale. It's a bottle fermented ale that comes in a 750ml bottle. It's made by Trappist Monks in Belgium, and is the same genre that Alsatian Ales belong to.
It's very heady, with a tremendously yeasty finish, and very potent (about 12% alcohol by volume, versus 4-5% for regular beers).
