I found my favorites to be from The Czech Republic, China, and Japan. The only ones I can remember the names of are some pretty well known ones like Tsing Tao from China and Kirin from Japan. I would remember the Czech beer if someone named it. The country I didn't like beer from was Germany. They like really strong tasting beers. A strong taste is ok as long as there isn't a strong aftertaste.
Let me list some Czech beers: Pilsner Urquell, Staropramen, Radegast, Starobrno, Budvar (called Krystal in America), Primus, Gambrinus, Bernard, Branik, Eggenberg, Holba, Lobkowicz, Samson, Bohemia Regent
There is a brewery in practically every city in the Czech Republic. My favorite is Budvar, the original Budweiser, tastes nothing like Budweiser. It was one of the most popular beers in the country when I was there. We also went to Plzen which is where Pilsner Urquell comes from, and where the Pilsner brewing style first originated.
