So you are confident I can buy a DeWalt 18 volt lithium battery and it will fit and work in my older Dewalt NiCad drill??
I own nothing but Dewalt and every 18V battery I have fits. XRP,non-XRP or lithium. I also believe basically ALL batteries use the same charger, until you get into the 20+'s.

The deal is really good for a homeowner as it comes with two batteries already. Good upgrades would be to get 2 better ones and a circular saw.
Not near as good for work as the drill is non hammer, the impact driver can be done without and the batteries will slow you down.

They sell the perfect kit for really both sets of people, something that would get you through basically anything. Unfortunately it is $400.
