Prices will be about the same as they were last year on electronics, except for tablets. Those will fall. Stores will offer credits when you buy from them (ie Walmart will offer $50 GC if you buy the new Wii U from them; Staples will probably kick in $25 GC for the Nexus 7 tablet. Ultra books should be hot this year, clearing out old stock. Probably a good selection of Ultra books under $500. XBOX 360 and PS3 systems will be very low, competing for market share against the Wii U. The Wii U sill start at $299, and be the big ticket item this year.

Sears, Best Buy and Walmart will have their best Black Friday ad to date. Amazon, New Egg, Toys R Us, and ebay will definitely be worth shopping all day on Thanksgiving, and up through the night. I give myself a limit of $1000 or so just for online shopping. I'm always too tired to hit the stores on BF. Wife can pick up the leftover stuff at 3am that I may have missed online.
