After placing an order for the blender and toaster oven as potential housewarming gifts, I was checking my Kmart order history and noticed that a tire gauge I ordered back in November had the status "Ready for Pickup". They were calling me to pick it up and on the last of those calls I specifically said to cancel the order. Ha, not only was it not cancelled but my credit card was charged and no refund was shown. This was during the week of Cyber Monday. Bastards. I hate this business practice of Kmart and Sears. Everyone, make sure to check your order history and if you didn't pick up an online order in the store, make sure you match it to your credit card history. I bet this is how Kmart and Sears were able to stay in business.
I would have to agree with you. I ended up making a duplicate order to use my SYW points on the toaster and got the run around for about an hour. It took 2 chats sessions and a 2 phone calls about cancelling the first order without the points. The last phone call did it but everyone else said Kmart was unable to cancel orders online??
The last person said sure I can do that and 15 seconds later it was done (so they say). I asked if they sent out cancellation confirms and she said no but that it was cancelled. The only thing I can tell for sure is the correct oven shipped and the first oven ordered earlier just says processing. Im gonna keep my eye on the refund just in case. =)
