Whats the difference between lands end and north face?

Scratchchin Good question... North Face is more of an outdoor adventure company - so their jackets will have details like pit vents you can unzip if you're getting too hot (skiing, hiking, etc), clips for your lift ticket/pass or your mittens, and a waist gaiter to keep snow from coming up inside your jacket. Land's End is based out of WI, and I would say they're more your everyday cold climate than summiting a mountain or glacier visit (which I have done). They will lack the details you might want for the slopes, but may be more fashion conscious and definitely more wallet friendly on sale... For Land's End, if you don't like what comes in the mail, you can return it to any Sears (but no exchanges). Land's End [landsend.com] link. I'm sure a lot of people have different opinions on it.
