several in stock in my area (chicago), but the reviews leave me a bit skeptical. i don't know anything about this infrared technology either.
I picked this grill up on clearance frome depot a couple years back and loved it. Then the next season I found a stainless Weber Genesis on clearance for under $200 and bought that and sold the Charbroil.
I actually liked using the Charbroil better. They get extremely hot which is great for searing steaks. The cleanup is a snap. If they still have the U shaped infrared thing in the bottom you can easily add wood chips, turn it low and use it as a smoker. Everyone says the Weber is a better grill and will last forever, but the Charbroil was more enjoyable to use.
