Sandisk announced 3 new SSD at CES 2013 today and ready to be shipped.

Review - http://www.anandtech.com/show/655...view-256gb
Amazon - http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ult...a+Plus+SSD
The OP's drive is crap. I would pay $140 if it was Sandisk Ultra with 7mm though.
And thanks for the links. Their new drives doesn't look impressive at all. I would just get a Samsung 840, the non-pro version instead of their new SanDisk Ultra Plus. Still waiting for a slick deal that would persuade me to add another bigger SSD in my laptop.

ReRAM based on memristor will be the successor to SSDs. I just took a semester-long course on this subject, and prototypes are already out. HP and Hynix are working together to make a commercially available version by the end of 2013. Your business/investor friends may be telling you to dump HP, but some of us in the CEG department are buying HP stock Wink
Really? You will buy into a diverse company based on one product? One that is not even out yet. You should have taken a semester long course on investing instead.
LOL. Absolutely agree with you. I read about ReRAM long time ago, and it seems HP and PR articles just keep promising it'll be commercialized "next year", every year. I'd also dump HP.
