This post is to counter all the Logitech haters. I've had 5 various models over the years and they all worked great. 1 of the refurbs I bought died after 12-15 months of use but crap happens. Actually my fiancee has a habit of letting it fall off the bed and drop on the floor (2-3 times a week) so that's probably why it broke.
The software to setup the remote is great imo. It does the job and it stores your configuration in case you break or lose your remote so you can easily transfer your saved configuration to a new remote, different model even.
