I recently applied for a job as a Patent Scientist at a law firm which asked for my college transcripts after 15+ years engineering experience. Since I didn't have them on hand, I've not supplied them. No one else asks for them.
Not sure why they're relevant to a law firm. Any thoughts?
They have probably run into too many liars without degrees they have listed on their resume or something like that. Maybe they want to know how you did in your core (non-engineering) courses because patent work is different from typical technical engineering work. I don't know what your experience is in submitting patents (if that would be your new job).
If I appear to be ignoring your posts, it's probably because you are on my ignore list.
