Here's a build I'm using slickdeal prices from the past month or so....someone had a $600 budget, if you have more to spend, you could get a 256gb SD drive instead, or an even better graphics card.

Excellent. That seems like quite the budget gaming computer. I will keep an eye out for a combo like the one that was mentioned.
If I might ask, though, how is there not much of a difference between the i5 and i7? I understand in society we are blinded by numbers, but it just seems the i7 would be much better. Or is this a situational thing - an i5 and i7 serve the same purpose for a gaming PC?
