I don't think people should go messing around with the Catholic Church, they are Pro's and have been doing this for centuries. Knights Templar, Illuminati, Bizentines, countless governments through the ages and so on. You want to start a scandal you say ? they will start a bigger one and create a diversion, at the same time making back room deals that end up making the Joker's fore planning from The Dark Knight seem amateurish.

Don't believe in Jesus, thats fine do you believe in ghosts ? unexplained events ? somethings beyond our current understandings ? Heck 80 years ago we could not even fly faster than the speed of sound imagine what we will learn in another 80 years. maybe the illuminati did figure it all out and are just biding their time for the right moment.

Its not a movie plot its real life history not some bearded guy in a robe, scandals and the Catholic Church go almost go together.

I am sure we will be hearing more about this as time goes on. But it sounds so fanciful, that its stranger than fiction Seems like Pope Benedict took one for the team, and went down for the Legion of Christ. Its kinda like Wall Street, Lehman Brothers having to go down as a sacrificial lamb right before the financial meltdown like a distraction.
With the entire European economy in meltdown... Looks like something big will happen...

So why wasn't it?
If he announced his resignation, he must be in hiding... We shall see what happened today after the weekend...
"All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident."

“It is natural for man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth… For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it.”
