The rebate is only valid until 2/23. What if you tried to price match on 2/24. Then they can't say "no" since there's no rebate. You can price match up to 14 days after purchase.
But since this is an ER it will be a return/rebuy which would invalidate the rebate. But that is how they do it in the store. I don't know how they would proceed the PM at that time and in that would they just credit you the difference and leave the original transaction as is so that the rebate stays intact? Or will the CSR try to look for a past rebate at that time too which before doing the PM at which time you would get shut down again.
Have no experience with Staples PM after a rebate period so if anyone has done this before please give us your feedback.
