Just so people know, you can pull these drives from the enclosures to use as internal drives. They are 5900 RPM, which to me sucks, but for the price, you can't beat it.

Here is a video of how to remove the drive from the enclosure:

Be careful taking the matte black portion of the enclosure apart. I broke mine, despite being careful.

For anyone worried about warranty, from what I've read on here, just tell seagate that you opened the enclosure to see if the enclosure failed instead of the drive because you wanted to retrieve your data. Sounds legit to me and people were confirming that it works. I hope this helps people.
