Just grabbed this from a retail shop. it was only $10 more than this deal, plus I could return it if I didn't like it. Boot-up is as fast as my gaming rig running an 840pro. The operation system is very efficient, and the dual-core Exynos 5 runs it very smoothly so far. This is the same CPU in the Nexus 10, and the Nexus 10 runs smoothly even at a very high resolution.
I haven't tried the Chrome Remote Desktop yet, but this was something I'm planning to use a lot, since my kids can be on their Chromebooks and will be streaming powerful games that most laptops even over $500 wouldn't run.
What I didn't like so far, is that it doesn't support apps from Google Play like a tablet or phone, BUT on the plus side, phones or tablets doesn't have full flash like the Chromebook!
