the writing instruments are limit 2 total. The correction film is not a writing instrument, correct?
It is unclear.

I think the correction film is a different item. Note it says "limit 2 per promotion." Never says anything about "limit 2 per writing instrument" like all the others. I am in for 2 writing instruments AND 2 correction film . . . but, come on, OM - give us a variety!!
Per the TERMS, the correction film is a writing supply and the limit is two total not two per SKU:
♦Bonus Rewards are available only for items marked as a MaxPerks® Bonus Reward offer. All Bonus Reward offers are available 3/3/13 thru 3/9/13. Limits may apply; see product offer for details. $32 Bonus Reward on OfficeMax® Multiuse Copy Paper, 10-Ream Case (item# 2252-5581) limit 2, maximum $64 Bonus Reward per member. 100% Bonus Reward on select writing supplies (item# 1001-4824, 2014-6272, 1011-9551, 1000-0884) online only, limit 2 Bonus Rewards per member. Items and related Bonus Rewards are available while supplies last. Member's MaxPerks ID card must be presented at time of purchase; no Bonus Reward adjustments will be made after purchase. All Bonus Reward offers valid in store, online and/or via phone order, unless otherwise indicated. Bonus Rewards issued are based upon price actually paid by Member, as advertised price can be reduced by any applicable coupon or discount. Bonus Rewards for these offers, along with any other rewards a Member may have earned during the same period, will be issued in the next statement cycle in the form of a MaxPerks Reward Card redeemable toward future purchases at OfficeMax®. Reward Cards expire 90 days from date of issuance, except in Florida where they expire one (1) year from date of issuance. See officemax.com/maxperksterms for full details.
Since the change in terminology quite a while ago now, if the terms state "limit 2" then the limit is two for that category. If the terms state "limit 2 per item" then the limit is two per item.

In for 6 Sharpie markers. Thanks OP
If this is on one account, the limit is two total not two per item.
