One thing I like about all the computers that Acer is listing is that they all have 7200 RPM hard drives (as opposed to the 5400 RPM standard). This will significantly help speed up the machine's overall performance.

I rather like the one you posted-- strongly considering it, for a work computer. One of the systems at work is running Windows 98, so... It seems like a solid enough box for what's near the effective the minimum price for a computer nowadays. The CPU benchmark for the A6 clocks in at 2926 vs the E1200's 887.
The standard for desktops has always been 7200RPM I thought. Laptops use the 5400RPM standard to decrease heat and preserve battery life.
