Best Buy is pulling up all the transactions from Monday and reviewing what they want to do with them. Technically speaking that can be done easily. Every Best Buy stores probably have at least 1 employee to spare who can manually cancel the order.
Yes, there is a degree of morality. Those who scored $2000 worth of GC's committed coupon fraud because the e-mail said 1 coupon per customer per household. Only a scam artists would photocopy the coupon, buy tons of GC and sell them on eBay at discount.
Yes everybody wants a bargain/deal. But I never got pissed if a store doesn't honor pricing mistakes. Best Buy made mistakes but they shouldn't have to go bankrupt because of 1 coupon.
BTW, I used my cards w/o issue. No need to lie as a scare tactic.
