Note: Both of these headphones have pronounced highs. Some, like me, find it uncomfortable and fatiguing.
I received these this morning so here are the first impressions:

An excellent bargain at $35.

(Amazon had a few at $30 but now sold out).

Bass: Much more bass than I was expecting. It is tight and not boomy at all.
Treble: A bit high depending on what equalizer setting I am using.
Mids: Just perfect
Soundstage: Very, very nice and the details in songs are easy to hear. The soundstage is not as good as a pair of Grados but is pretty damn close.
Build quality: All plastic, vinyl earpads, in other words nothing special.

Easily driven by a portable MP3 player with no amp needed.

These are large headphones that completely cover my ears. The cable is 6 ft long and these are quite light and comfortable so far. They come with a carrying pouch (not a real case) and I think they look nice (though others at Headfi think they look ugly).
