My order placed 5/5 shipped 5/10. Great!
The upgrade rebate has conflicting information. In the title it says "For previous owners of stand-alone versions of Trend Micro™, Norton™, or McAfee™ products." However, in the small print of the form it says "Proof of prior ownership of a retail (boxed or downloaded) stand-alone version of Trend Micro PC-cillin, or any Norton™ or McAfee™ product, by providing one of the following: product CD, product disk (disk 1 only), title page of owner’s manual from a retail purchase, or the email confirmation for a download purchse."
Anybody have any thoughts about the "Trend Micro PC-cillin" requirement? I'm assuming this is a typo, like the "purchse" typo. Do they even sell PC-cillin anymore? Wasn't it EOL'd in 2008 (http://support.antivirus.co.uk/tr...onId=345)?
PC-cillin is the old name for Trend Micro's AV/Security software titles. They have used this terminology on every upgrade rebate for the past few years.
Disregard it. You can upgrade from any version of Trend Micro software... AntiVirus +, Titanium Security, Maximum Security, etc. The only stipulation is that it should be a 2012 or older version.
