Did anyone else get their claim denied? This is BS i sent everything and they are pretty much telling me I am missing everything. I included the invoice, acitvation code, bar code from the hard drive, i registered the Total defense and had it installed.. this sucks.. whats even worse it took them over a month and a half to tell me it was declined, if they told me asap I would have had time to resend everything.. has anyone been in this situation before, what can be done..
this is the message i got from them when i track my rebate.
- Signed Rebate Form is missing- Original UPC Barcode Label (#817839011691) (Not the shipping label barcode) is missing- Copy of Receipt/Invoice is missing- Activation Code or Copy of Welcome Email (Activation code can be found on the back of your user guide) is missing- Product must be activated prior to rebate redemption is missing- Proof of purchase of qualifying bundle purchase is missing- No proof of purchase- Barcode label is missing- Reseller is not eligible for this offer- No proof of purchase date in documentation
I had the exact same problem. I called customer service (1-800-286-9146) a few days after my claim was denied and explained my situation. They instructed me to resubmit copies of my documentation and that they would review it in 1-2 weeks. Coincidentally, my claim was finally approved today.
