Failed to register COM (ActiveX) Control: C:\WINDOWS\Couponprinter.ocx Failure in LoadLibrary () (5)

I having been printing coupons from Coupons.com with problem till today. I was told I hv t install the couponprinter software ( I already hv it ). SO I went ahead to instal but came across this prompt
"Failed to register COM (ActiveX) Control: C:\WINDOWS\Couponprinter.ocx Failure in LoadLibrary () (5)
And was unable to install and print anything coupon. Has anyone come across the same problem?

Unplug the printer.

go to start>Settings>printers and faxes> then right click on the printer and choose delete.

Reboot your pc.

Plug the printer into a different USB port then before.

Windows should do the "found new hardware dance" and re-install the printer.

If it doesn't then get your disk's that came with the printer and run the installer program from the disk.

This may not be a printer issue but an application issue with the coupon software.. The printer works fine i assume with other software? Can you print a test page? It may be some security software that you have like spybot teatimer preventing it from installing. What security software are you running?

p.s. This software coupon printer is considered adware by malwarebytes and it does remove it.
