I added mine to the cart the second that it showed up as available on the gold box screen, checked out really quickly, and then checked the gold box screen and it said that 63% had been claimed -- was probably at about 20 seconds after it unlocked. Wow.

Got off phone w/Amazon due to my cart showing $199.99 and no sign of GC - lady said I did qualify...but I'm not so sure I trust her...anyone else want to call and get multiple confirmation that 199.99 + no email conf/no mention of $100gc on web invoice can indeed be a qualified order?

Thats what was selected by default. But above it in the shipping options, free super saving shipping was available. You might be able to call and get them to change it.

yea there's no mention of any gift cards anywhere in the confirmation email...hopefully I don't get screwed...

It's true the order does not mention the $100 promotion gift card, but from past experience I'd say this is normal. Those $5 MP3 credits don't show up on your order, but they email them to you eventually. So $199.98 should be the final price and one day the $100 promotion credit should show up in email (and if it doesn't email them).

I have 1 in my cart at Amazon, but haven't placed the order yet. I was told it should hold it there for me for a while. I'm going to see what happens at Walmart first.

guys please read the T&C regarding the gc. i have posted that in wiki now. gc will be given only after the item is shipped.

This is directly from the promo page at amazon

"The promotional code will not be reflected at checkout when you purchase the Xbox 360 Arcade; instead, it will be sent via email (along with instructions for use) seven (7) business days after the qualifying order has shipped."

So as long as you purchased the unit with the $.01 lightning deal discount you should be ok.

I purchased via 1-click when it said there was 88% redeemed...never saw the $.01 lightning deal discount...can someone please confirm that their lightning deal order was $199.98 or if it as $199.99? (As shown on final invoice)
