I agree with those who don't like paying taxes.

I didn't do the Almay deal at all (got in late on everything as it is... ) but don't feel bad about it since I don't hardly wear makeup and Almay's not the best brand for any skin (imho).

But just looking at my receipts from my 4 Theraflu runs showing mostly $0 subtotals but still $0.88 in taxes, I'm like, wow, the coupons didn't reduce the taxes at all? Even when I went negative with all the coupons combined to $-2 before taxes, I still had to pay $0.88 in taxes and had to find fillers (got mostly $0.50 cans of Mandarin oranges which we do eat vs. useless stuff that DH and I won't use/eat) to make sure I end up breaking even/owing a little bit.

When I'm doing KM doubles, the coupons reduce the taxes too, so I'm confused why that is not so with WAG, anyone can shed some light on this for me?

I'm not overly upset about the taxes thing, but it definitely plays into my calculation of whether to do a deal or not.

Taxes are based on the state you live in. I live in IL and we pay tax on the FULL price. But if I drive to MO they pay taxes after the coupons are deducted. I LIKE THAT!
