I need new outdoor Christmas lights. I was thinking of getting the LED lights that are on sale buy one get one 50% off with the overage from the vitamins. Has anyone bought them? Are they worth it? I don't want to waste my $$ (well, ECBs) on junk.

In general, the LEDs have really improved. they're brighter than just 2-3 years ago.

Another option is that I heard either Lowes or home depot is giving a $3 trade in on LED lights when you trade in a string of working or non-working old incandescent christmas lights.
Hopefully a black friday deal will make this a free or near-free item

While they are super energy efficient, they cast a bluish white glow, where the incandescent are a softer glow. Kind of like comparing flourescent and incandescent. I dont care for them. See if you can find some lit up to see if you will like them.

I could do that. I have several non working strings in the garage. But if I do it at CVS it will cost little to no OOP if I get the vitamins with it and use a $5 off 20.

You mean incandescent Christmas lights? Are they the regular lights? I have no clue. I saw some of the LEDs lit up in one store, but its hard to picture what they will look like in the dark.

I had used a $5/20 on a $40+ transaction a couple of days ago and only got $5 off, so it isn't that

For those who get the Sunday coupons earlier - tomorrow's Sunday's paper (at least in my area N VA) has two coupons for Calritin - one for $4 and the other for $5.

It's Home Despot on the trade-in, and their LEDs are OS for $5.97 this week IIFC. So you'd pay $3 OOP for each strand (the limit on trade-ins is five light sets - I am assuming you cannot stack the credits ...)

The trade-in component ends tomorrow (Sunday). I don't know if they'll bring it back, though I would hope so!

I got some J Freida detanglers finally. This other CVS that I can only get to on the weekends carries it along with the shampoo and conditioner for breakage prone type of hair. I reached the limit for me and my bf's card. Looked for ear rinse in this one and there was none. I stopped by the pharmacy area in hopes of getting the Novamax as this store turn their deals on for next week early but there was no Novamax at all. I left my Robi qs at work so I couldn't do that deal either.

I found some clearance stuff that helped in place of the ear rinse. (I also posted this on the CVS clearance thread) I got a L'Oreal cleanser and facial towelettes that were marked on clearance for $4 each. For my other transaction, I got an Olay Def pore refining scrub marked on clearance for $5.50. They made okay fillers as I had matching qs for all of those.
