So my Epson printer is running low on ink again. The thing goes through ink super fast, so now I'm considering getting a new printer altogether. I'd like to get an inkjet with long-lasting and affordable ink cartridges. I hear HP is the best for this. Any input would be appreciated.
I'm looking for an All-in-one type of printer btw, with a scanner/copier and such. Built-in Wireless would be a plus. The one I have now only cost $30 so I don't mind getting rid of it. |

What is your price range? Do you have size requirements?
I had an old Canon that I used through college and was good, but then it broke after I graduated. It was a Canon mp130, but has now been replaced. I was able to use generic ink which was really cheap, but now I have read that the new printers are not allowed to do this. I just bought a new printer, the HP Officejet Pro 8000 and have been happy with the performance. I have only had it a few months and have not printed that much, but it is definitely faster than my old printer. The all in one version is the HP Officejet Pro 8500. I have read good reviews of ink useage when using the XL packs that they sell. The only thing some people might find annoying is the start up time is a little long and it is louder than my old printer. |

I've only looking to spend $100 or less really. I don't do a lot of printing but I do want the best bang for my buck. This Epson I have is really loud and slow too.
I'll just keep a lookout for an HP deal. I just missed out on one at Frys that was like $37 and was frontpaged. Thanks! |

I have been weighing the prospects of going to a laser jet from my ink jet. I go through 3 series 9 cartridges in about 2 months (small home business on the side). Obviously mine isnt too good. Anyone here switch to laser notice the savings right away
