They showed on the news here the other day a trick to help keep to much snow from piling up on your roof. You take some pairs of panty hose and cut the legs off and fill each leg with that snow melt salt. Then put about 4 or 6 salt legs on each side of the roof. Dontknow They said it really works but it does look very weird!

All you guys in the snow stay safe and warm. I HATE the winter blizzards, well most of time. They are pretty and it is nice to HAVE to take a break sometimes. Just hopefully your well stocked and not stressing to much over Qs exp to soon.

I hate when that happens. So stoopy some of them LoserOD. You should print some of the available coupon policy and workbench (maybe) and mail it to the store. I did that once a long time ago at a store I had that issue at (cept it was decided I could use 20 Qs on a $300 order) and it seemed to work. I didn't go back for three weeks but when I did everything seemed to be fine.

Guy that checked me out last time and I was Cold threw me under the bus (ie, woman showed up at his register before they came to girl that was checking me out) tonight.

I had someone (don't know if LOD or GSTL or whatever) show up while my cashier was checking me out tonight that raised her voice at me and said you can't use redeem at publix Qs here.

I'm curious as to why not? They are still MQs that T gets reimbursed for, as they don't say redeemable ONLY at Publix. I made them take those items off my bill and they weren't happy about it.

I've had that happen before too. They did it alot with a CVS q that we were all using last year. It's really annoying.

Sending sympathy thoughts to all you in storm's way today. It's hella windy here this morning and cold too. Can't imagine it being colder and adding snow to the mix. Yesterday we had bad thunderstorms, the kind we usually see in Summer months. The weather has been Crazy lately.

Hope you are all staying warm. So far, we haven't had any extra snow - which is good. Plenty of cold though.

I've been up half the night. DD's apparently gave me their colds!! I'm sipping tea and *hoping* (but not really expecting) that the kids will sleep in. I am so gonna need a nap today!

Dia - hug I hope everything works out with your son and the school - and FAST!!

WW for all ya'll shopping today. I am hoping to get out tomorrow and shop a bit.

RIP Captain Phil Harris from the Cornelia Marie on Deadliest Catch Frown He past away early this morning. We have loved that show from the beginning and it was clear his lifestyle wasn't so great for his health. He was only 53 and had both his sons onboard the boat with him crabbing. Sadwalk


On another note, for the second time in one winter (Bigeye) We have "snow showers" listed on our weather channel and news reports. Of course it won't happen and we'll just be Cold but whatever Wink


Pray for all of you in all that snow!!!

Hey all. Man I slept a total of 2.5 hours tonight! I am wide awake!

Just curious how the castor oil for the eyelashes is going. Also those that ordered the argan oil how do you like it?

I have found another "home remedy" that has been working really well for me, I have roscea so I have a hard time finding good face that doesn't destroy my face, almond milk and honey. I make a little bit of a face mask. The honey is a little sticky but washes right off. I leave it on for about 15-20 minutes then wash it of with cetaphil. My face has calmed down so much!!

No sighting for any good tearpeads. Well, I don't have too much time to sight but I have been to Wags. Yes, so far I have a couple of them flower ones. Now will try to get out of here at noon got to two more Wags and shop and peel. Really need to aim for Target but......Time is an essence and the snow is pilied high. Otherwise it isi looking nice and white outside.

Have to work the next three evenings and then Saturday at Penney's. I am so hating the no sleep Saturday's. I get an hour nap before hand if that counts. But I need to work.

I was so MAD on Monday at DVR ( Department of Vocational Rehabilition). If I am not enrolled in school, they cannot get me new hearing aids. Then the counselor stated it is not feasible to work two jobs and go to school on top of that. I am like HELLO I did it before with two little ones. Kids were 9 and 13 at the time. She said not possible to do it for a long strecth of time. Two plus years, yea right I need a degree to get a REAL job.

I can fit coupon shopping into my crazy life schedule now. I can fit school in there too. She stated she could hellp me look for full time work though, I am like okay it need to pay at least $15/hr. We will see what see can do.

Dia, The only 7-11 is NOT in a safe area.

Cold so weird that you mentioned this. Earlier this morning, I searched the thread and ordered from that link you posted for Amazon!! Bigeye It should be here Friday! (the argan/Moroccan Oil). I can't wait to try it!! Can you give some tips how you use it? Do you mix it into your products like lotions or do you use it straight without mixing? I want to use it on my face (winter dryness) and hair especially.

I was up WAY too late ordering stuff for people. Now I'm motivated to take 2 kids to at least 2 more Wags before the library this morning. You all would be so impressed with my badgering ability. My sister on the other hand had an employee from cosmetics come and ask if "she could help her" while she was peeling. Sis said "only if you want to help me peel some of these off" Roll She grabbed just 1 more and left because at that point they obviously know what you're up to Wink.

Oh man that sucks, did he die on his boat? Was it all those cigarettes, his one son is so loving toward him it is sweet to see thier interaction.

This is so sad. We loved that show too and just watched the episode where he was coughing up blood and finally went to the ER Frown
I had been reading and thought he was getting better.


Also, I saw Chicago had a 4.3 magnitude earthquake this morning. Pray everyone there is ok. I know thats not a large earthquake but hopeing it did no damage to fellow TCCers

I mixed it with some dove lotion for my hands and did notice a difference from the lotion before. I haven't tried it for my face because I am really sensitive and break out from oils. For my hair, I have medium length, I just put about 3 drops in my hand and rub it into my towel dried hair after washing. If i am going to straighten my hair I add a few extra drops in. HTH! My only other advice is try just a few drops 1st and then if you feel no difference kick it up a few drops.

Good luck I will be searching for them too. I went to 4 stores last night and they were all wiped out! Hope to find a few today!!
