Correction: Steam "blew" a few years ago. Now it is rock solid and bug-free. Your games stay saved forever and you can redownload them on any machine...no need to keep discs/serials, etc. The chat/buddy interface is very well done also. I love it.

Sweet...except for the fact that I screwed up and already have two steam accounts I always wondered if I could combine them. One was from cs I bought like in 1999 and the other was from when I bought hl2. Would be nice to have all these games in one.

Well, if you were to buy this package it would come out to be $4.50. This is an amazing deal for those who do not own many of these games. Sadly for me, I've always bought the game when it comes out. Thus I actually own all those games, lol. Sadness. I've probably spent more than 300 or 400 on Valve games

And when was the last time you used Steam? 5 Years ago? I've had a Steam account since it was first released (5 digit steamID) and I can tell you this much: The distribution platform has improved IMMENSELY. Yeah it still have a fair share of bugs, but nothing major. Plus they are ALWAYS updating. Theres an update more or less once a week or so that fixes minor bugs with random things. I love Steam. It is an amazing way to distribute games digitally and helps keep everything in one place.

doesnt hurt to email their customer support...doesnt seem like a hard thing to do to combine accounts.
