I got an email with this "Thank you for registering for a 15-day trial download of Parallels Workstation 2.2 for Windows!" So its not free and only a trial?

So I haven't taken time to read up on this YET but I can run Linux and Vista on the same system simultaneously...? Or Vista.... and say.... XP with Office XP in the background? Without having to partition my drive and boot one or the other?
