can anyone comment on these clubs? they seem pretty good for beginners and occasional golfers, is this a fair assumption? Also, they only have stiff left, is that going to be an issue?

Also, rockbottomgolf seems to have these for the same price.. I believe they have coupons that can make it cheaper so that may be a better option.

Looks like they're only available in right-hand, and stiff flex (which is too stiff for 95% of the golfers out there).

Having said that, this is a great price--so it you're able to swing the stiff flex this is a nice deal.

(There was a recent deal for Nike CCI or Nike Slingshot irons which could be had in regular flex--a better purchase for most golfers).

I have a friend who has this set & they play great. Very forgiving clubs & easier to hit than I expected them to be off tight lies.

Whether stiff is right for you or not depends on your swing. Especially if you're younger & reasonably athletic, you may be able to generate enough clubhead speed that stiff would be right for you. If regular is what you should hit & you play stiff you just won't load up the shaft as much with your swing which will cost you some distance.

I had a HiBore driver until the shaft snapped on me right down by the clubhead. Loved that thing, I'd imagine the irons would be more of the same. Can't afford a new set right now, though!

Great looking heads, but the shaft will make this hit like a baseball bat against a brick wall. Be careful when choosing clubs - the shaft makes a huge difference.
