    Apple just dropped the price on the Iphone 3G 8GB and the 16GB due their annoucement about the new Iphone 3GS releasing on June 19th

    Live cashback [bing.com]is 35% back

    what do you guys think ?

    HOW TO GET PREMIER + CashBack (New Contracts Only):
    1. Visit ATT Wireless website and validate your email address with Premier.
    2. Check your email and click the link to your ATT Premier Store.
    3. Open a new tab with the same browser that your ATT Premier Store is open in.
    4. Go to bing.com in the new tab and search "att wireless"
    5. Click the 35% CashBack Sponsored Link
    6. Sign into your CashBack account and get redirected to the main AT&T Wireless page.
    7. In the top right enter the term "Premier" into the search bar.
    8. Click the first link that reads "at&t premier login"
    9. You will get directed to the same Premier store you have open in the original tab.
    10. Congratulations, you are in the Premier store under the CashBack AT&T Site

    If you have an account with AT&T and you just want to make an upgrade or add a line:
    1. Go to bing.com
    2. Search " ATT WIRELESS ".
    3. Click the AT&T sponsored link, you will redirected (after you enter your email) to either the regular AT&T store or the Premier store depending on which account you have
    4. Log in to your account and make your purchase.
    5. The cashback will show up as "pending" after a couple of hours.
    6. If it takes more than 48 hours for the cashback to show up, contact bing's customer service then you will asked for your order number, method of payment( I attached my whole purchase order to the email): You cash will show up within hours


    P.S: After reading a lot of posts here, using IE as your browser when doing the cashback will be a good idea to avoid any kind of connection or linking problems

    FAQ - PLEASE READ

    Who can get Cashback?
    Going strictly by MSN/ATT terms, CB is only available for a single device purchase with a new contract for NEW CUSTOMERS. If you are a current AT&T customer, your devices purchases and contracts are processed as upgrades and add-a-lines, which are excluded by the terms.

    But really who can get Cashback?
    There have been numerous reports of people getting CB on upgrades through the normal ATT store. CB appears automatically w/o any MS inquiry needed.

    What is ATT Premier?
    The Premier store is for those who have an affiliation to an organization that receives discounts on ATT service and some equipment purchases.

    What is a FAN?
    Foundation Account Number. How ATT tracks orgs and their discounts. A FAN is applied to an ATT account to receive discounts.

    How do I get a FAN on my account?
    Either by making a purchase through your ATT Premier store or by taking your paystub, student ID, etc. any proof of affiliation to an ATT store. Click on the link on your Premier store that says Enrollment. There will also be a link there to enroll online with your phone number and work/school email address. Because of widespread abuse and lists of FANs being available on the 'net, you can't call and get a CSR to add the FAN to your account.

    How do I shop at Premier?
    Two ways: If you are an existing customer with a FAN on your account, you will be forced to Premier any time you make a purchase while you are logged into your account.

    If you are a new or existing customer and don't have the FAN on your account yet, you will be given a link to your Premier store when you register online. The link sets a login cookie and redirects you to your Premier store.

    What are the benefits of shopping through the Premier store?
    Any accounts/devices purchased through Premier are activated with discounts in place. Having the FAN applied later could take 1-2 billing cycles.

    Some people don't have a choice and forced through Premier.

    Premier does not seem to have a 1 iPhone per household limit and has less stringent ordering/fraud check processes.

    Can I use Bing and Premier?
    Bing does not appear to be automatically processed for Premier purchases, but an inquiry to MS should get them to add the CB.

    ATT terms state you cannot leave the ATT site, instructions are posted on how to not leave the ATT site, but load your premier store in the same window that you clicked through from Bing.

    If you are upgrading through Premier, MS is getting more strict about granting CB. Since all premier purchases don't automatically show up and you have to email bing to get CB added, they will look at the invoice and probably see the $18 upgrade and could deny you.

    Can I use iphone 3G/3GS on T-Mobile unlocked?
    Yes and No. Yes, iphone 3G/GS will work for voice and EDGE data speed (not 3g speeds) on T-mobile. 3G speed will NOT be available on T-mobile because T-mobile uses a different frequency (1700/2100 Mhz) than AT&T (850/1900 Mhz). (http://mobilesociety.typepad.com/...ns_of.html)

    For premier orders, you should not search by order number, since the premier order number will not work on that page.

    UPGRADE STATUS
    Early Upgrade: 12 months into contract. If you have iphone 3G, first day you can get early upgrade status is July 12 (1 year after last year's release date, if you bought on first day.)

    Qualified Upgrade: 18 months into contract.

    Non-commitment: Less than 1 year into contract or current ATT Customer wishing to purchase as a gift. MUST BE ATT CUSTOMER.

    Pricing (8GB 3G, 16 GB 3GS, 32 GB 3GS)
    Early Upgrade: 299/399/499 - $200 less than non-commitment, $200 more than qualified
    New Contact or Qualified Upgrade: 99/199/299
    Non-commitment: 499/599/699

    You are early upgrade qualified at 12 months.. That is why a lot of ppl are saying July 12 there is new pricing.. July 12 is the first day that people who bought the 3G on the first day last summer will be able to get the early upgrade pricing -- a $200 discount off the non-commitment pricing, but still $200 more than new contract pricing and upgrade-qualified users.

    Anyone who wonders about their price, should go into their ATT account and look. It will be much quicker than having someone on here trying to figure it out for you. ATT will show you the price. Just try to upgrade and it will tell you what you qualify for.. then look at the phone prices in the store!

    For those who are asking about buying non-commitment.. right now it looks like you have to be an ATT customer. You are supposed to be limited to 1 phone also, and they offer this more as perk so you can buy an iphone as a gift for someone. If you want to do it online with CashBack you have to be non upgrade qualified.. because once you log into your account it shows you the prices you will pay based on your upgrade status and there doesn't seem to be a way to change it to get non-commitment pricing.

    HOWEVER, if you don't pay your bill, and let it go overdue.. you lose your upgrade status while your account is overdue, and then you can buy at non-commitment pricing.

    The OP has posted that people are getting success in getting Cash back for Upgrades/Add Lines. This could be very YMMV.
    The cash back may come in the account automatically (without verification), and that's why BING requires 60 days to verify the adherence to T&C. The Cashback can be taken back as per the T&C.. So there may be some component of risk.I know instances where Cash back was removed after 50 days , for a transaction not being done under T&C . But in this case there is a contract after 30 days ..
    Note: Bing does not show the cashback if you are using Mozilla Firefox. It only seems to work with Internet Explorer or if you use the IE Tab add on within Firefox.

    ADDITIONALLY. You will NOT see the bing logo if you have an ATT account and have cookies set. Because you get a different homepage, one that has a login screen on the right.

    I agree.. if they get as hard-nosed about this as they did with the drugstore.com cached links they will deny the orders. They know when ATT killed the ads. With drugstore.com they said they stopped running ads on this date, you placed an order on this date, so no way could you have clicked on an ad..etc.

    I tried to argue I had the ad in my search results and their terms said nothing about having to SEARCH 24 hrs before the purchase and they kept refusing the CB.

    ordered again from premier on 6/22. emailed on friday to bing about no CB. Just got a credit from "Dan A". was an upgrade too.. but when i check my order status on premier, it says "new service" - so I sent that too.

    but something is kinda screwy... they sent me an email that says "sign up for cashback"-- did this one under my sisters account, and she has a CB account.. so not sure what is wrong. it is under the same email as the email they sent the sign up to.

    edit. i just clicked on the signup link they sent, clicked the ok to terms, and it said it was adding all my pending CBs to my "new" CB account.. but it is the same account i've always had.. weird.

    I am a new customer, I ordered a family plan with 2 iPhone 32gbs. I did it through the premier. I emailed the bing, they approved my CB, I can see that but it is only for ONE iphone, not like the other people here for their 2 iphone purchase.

    Is it how it supposed to be????

    I ordered using the"secret" link yesterday morning, taking a screenshot of the "One moment please/35% cashback" screen, and then also clicking to the homepage and seeing the cashback logo (took another screenshot), then checked out with no further mention of cashback. This morning I got an email to say I'm getting $104 cashback
