They always have in the past (at least with AT&T FAN accounts).

letstalk.com is legit; but be wary of the fine print - they nail you with huge fines if you break any part of their contract, which stipulates things like "You are unable to lower your plan or drop data/texting features from your plan". If you are happy with your current plan, and don't plan on changing it, letstalk.com is fine, as is wirefly.com (although to a lesser extent, based on my experience with their customer service). Payments and all that still go through your regular carrier. It's my understanding that these companies make money by 1) Kickbacks from the carrier for getting people to sign or re-sign, 2) Levying fees if you break part of the contract, and 3) trying to upsell you on *everything*.

Before you commit to buying from lets talk, please read their rebate processing details. I purchased a phone from these guys few years back it was a hassle to get the rebate. Phone prices seem cheap but they make every effort to cancel your rebate.

Requirements
1. Print & submit a copy of the rebate form. A customized version of your rebate form is available for download via our Rebate Center. There is a unique form for each phone purchased. Please double check to make sure you have all the right forms. Also, if you changed your cell phone number, please be sure to indicate your new cell phone number on the rebate form. Without these numbers, we will not be able to complete your rebate!
2. Submit a copy of your Proof of Purchase Receipt. You have a few options for your proof of purchase; you can use the Packing Slip that was included with your shipment or print a copy of the Receipt via our Rebate Center.
3. Attach a copy of the GREY LetsTalk.com barcode sticker (located on the bottom of your equipment box) to the space provided on the rebate form.
4. Submit a copy of your 4th month carrier bill. The bill must show that you have made payment and that "all outstanding balance" has been paid in full (Please circle this section on the bill).
5. Ensure that you have everything and make copies for your records. Then mail the required paperwork to the address indicated on the rebate form. USE SEPARATE ENVELOPES IF YOU ARE SUBMITTING MULTIPLE REBATES.

Trade-in Brings The price down too !!!
I am also curious about the trade-in value. From their website it seems that I can trade in my Blackberry 8320 for $86.99 which brings down the total price to $13. But now I am worried that they may not honor the trade-in value if their normal rebates are also a pain.
