    This is just like the New York unclaimed money thread. I thought I would give it a shot...nobody owes me money but my brother has about $250 out there from a previous employer. Check it out...there may be money out there for you.

    I was just talking about this with a co-worker two weeks ago..

    Just Google your state like "Virginia Unclaimed Property" and goto the Treasury site. My Co-worker ended up getting $2500 back from some kind of insurance thing. Basically its just where a company can not find you after you move several times, and the state can not take your money so they just hold onto it until you contact them. Not a bad find at all.

    In the New York thread someone posted the link for all the states. I didn't find one for myself, but I've found some unclaimed money from like 5 different family members. $150 found so far. between 3 people.
