Free T-mobile Blackberry Devices (1 or 2 year term required)
I heard this from a friend of a friend that works at a call center:

There's a promotion targeting Blackberry Developers, so I think you need the correct code. Here's what you can get:

BB 8100 (PEARL) = FREE after rebate
BB 8700 = FREE after rebate
    BB 8320 (CURVE) = $49 after rebate
    BB 8800 = $99
    BB 8820 = $199

You have to call T-Mobile's Business Direct number and mention either the "campaign name'"or the "promo code" below:

    Business Direct: 1-866-464-8662 (option 3)
    Campaign Name: RIM Blackberry Offer
    Promo Code: 7490TMOFAV

I believe you can choose either 1 or 2 year term. They waive the activation fee and also ship the BB to you for free. Not sure how long the promo runs but she said that it should be good at least through the end of June.

Thanks, SlickDeals! We love the site at our house!

What is the cheapest plan you can sign up for and still get this deal? I've heard they often require you sign up for a data plan.

Called briefly and verified it. Here are the details I got (I might be a bit off on somethings).

You can do a one year contract. I was told the 8820 was $249 with contract, other prices are what OP posted. Ground shipping is free, and overnight shipping is available but is not free. The Pearl comes with a car charger and bluetooth headset but the curve doesn't

I'll see what more info I can get when I get off work.

Excellent 1st post OP!! Thumbed and repped!

Thanks for the info Wheelman. Here's another one for you. Can you get them to unlock this and will all the functions work with another carrier (AT&T for example)?
