35% cash back from eBay purchase using Microsoft Live Search *No selling!*
Only applies to Buy It Now items paid for using PayPal. For example, go to http://www.live.com/ (type it into your browser, don't click the link in this post) and search for a Wii. Check the paid results at the top and right for a link to eBay with the "live search cashback" icon. Click it, find a Buy It Now auction for a Wii (or whatever you want for that matter). Discount should be listed on checkout page.

    T&C on eBay's site:
    http://pages.ebay.com/cashbackoff...trksid=m37

    More info from M$:
    http://search.live.com/cashback/howToUse

List of stores participating in cashback:
    http://search.live.com/cashback/stores

I hope this information helps! Why would M$ do this? My best guess is that someone there believes they will pay out less in cash back than eBay will be paying them for the clicks generated. I have no doubt SDers will ensure M$ loses their asses on this one! An SD newbie thanks everyone for the positive response, have fun!

Everyone is doing a great job with the Wiki, check there for the most updated information.

Is this your way of telling me this has been posted previously? If so my apologies, a site search for 35% ebay turned up no similar threads.

    In for 78 of them.

Just kidding - LAME, I believe he has some type of referral code put in there and he gets credit for your purchased. What a FAYYYYYGGG!!!!
No, it's Microsoft live search. Microsoft gets the "referral" not the OP. And your "fayg" comment (trying to bypass filters or are you that ignorant that you can't even spell?) is totally inappropriate. Mod alerted. You FAIL.

I've been trying to figure out an automated way to track these non-eBay sponsored link deals but haven't had much time to dedicate to it. Would be useful, though.

anyone know about this new paypal promotion?

Your exclusive Bill Me Later line of credit makes it easy to buy holiday gifts now. Plus, you'll get 30% off your Bill Me Later purchases. Bill Me Later is a great way to pay without credit card numbers at your favorite online stores including WalMart.com, toys r us, Overstock and B&H Photo.

    Here's the deal:

    1. You're pre-approved for Bill Me Later through December 31, 2008.
    2. Pay with Bill Me Later by December 31st.
    * Get a 30% statement credit on your first $250 in purchases.
    * Make no payments until April 1, 2009.

There's no need to sign up for this promotion. Just shop now and get this offer at the over 1000 online stores that offer Bill Me Later.

Plus, if you pay your balance in full by April 1, 2009, you'll pay no interest!

Shop Now and get a 30% statement credit on up to $250 in Bill Me Later purchases! This offer is good at all of the more than 1000 stores that offer Bill Me Later (purchases at Amazon.com do not qualify for the no payments offer.) Just be sure to select Bill Me Later when it's time to pay.

does this seem worth it? any catch? should there be a new thread for this? or do you have to get an email invitation for it or can anyone do it?

sucks cus I already bought a xbox live 4000 points card from Buy.com eBay listing for $47.99 (lowest I could find) with 8% cb and i think there is a posting for that on slickdeals.

meanwhile i could have got 30% off with this promotion as Buy.com is one of the stores (there are 1000's). it says on up to $250 in bill me later purchases so that is a limit the ms cb doesnt' have but still there is no minimum.

wow, microsoft is holding us hostage with this deal!
i'm kicking myself SO HARD for not making a purchase at 30% because i was STUPID and hoped that somehow it would go up to the 35% it had a while back.

i've only seen the 35% once, i don't know what i was thinking. i guess i'm just too wishful.

If only people would have listened to me. 137 pages and on every few you will find someone asking if they should wait and me saying to take what you can get... a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush... n% is better than 0%.... blah blah blah. Some people just don't listen to an answer when they ask a question I guess. I'm happy with all my cashback so far.

I think instant cb is determined by the link you click through to get to ebay. Ie most times the live page has 60 day wait, but sometimes when teh page loads it loads with a special link for instant cb. That is my theory.

hmm, some of us don't wanna buy all the stupid cr*p on ebay just cause there is cash back. I pick and choose what I want, as of now, I am only looking for one item and can wait till live.com gives atleast 25%. I hate, 'know it alls', they are the civilized version of terrorists, God forbid you take a misstep, you got a stupid know it all to chime in, sayin 'I told you so'.

The instant cash back. from my experience (along with my wife and some friends), is triggered by the seller's return policy. If they have stated one in the official section of the listing (no matter what their rules are), then you wait 60 days. If they don't have a return policy in the official section or state that they don't accept returns, then you get instant cash back. This is even true if they state a return policy in the item description and not in the official return policy section. You still get instant cash back.

I've found that especially with popular electronics, you can still get your 30% off but it takes work. If you look at completed items you will see there is a 30-40% range in selling price with most of the lower priced sales falling on auctions. If you have the patience, auctionsniper.com (with bidgroups) and ebay search's RSS feeds you can still get the price you want for your items.
