TRU BELL GARDENS, CA must of got a shipment last night. I scored one, no questions asked! Rang up $119.06 with GC! I originally went to get a copy of Rainbow 6:Vegas 2 for $20 and they were OOS, asked on a whim if they had Rock Band 2, they did! See post #1954 for my receipt.
EDIT: How is this deal a scandal? It's in Toy's R Us weekly ad so it's a legit deal. It is both BB & WM policy to match the price of competitors prices on the same available brand and model, so yeah this deal is valid until this saturday ( December 20) But Rock Band 2 will NOT be $109 after saturday.

Text on front of gift card states it expires 1/31/09. Users have pointed out that would not be valid where overriden by State Law. If the expiration is a concern for you, simply buy something with the (expiring) gift card, and return it--TRU will give you a new gift card back without the expiration date as part of the return (they match the payment method used).
Ad states that gift card isn't activted until 12 hours after purchase... but SD'ers have used the gift card with success on a 2nd purchase immediately after the RB2 purchase.
Wal-Mart will price match the discounted price, but will usually not match the gift card offer.
Typically, Wal-Mart requires an actual ad from a paper, not a printed PDF or other form.
Sales person confirmed with me it was pricemistake. They couldn't catch it earlier.
So this will not be regular price for Rock Band 2. And you will not see this price soon again.

Huntington NY - 7:40 am there were two full stacks of both XBox 360 and PS3. Was able to get two for the price listed!

Green Bay TRU was OOS, BB called to confirm tey were stock, so that was a no go. Went to Walmart and they matched without too much confusion, no Gift Card though.
Milwaukee TRU - OOS. Circuit City PM'd 110% with TRU Advertisement.
Please add to the list to help others not go to TRU that are already OOS of either the Xbox 360 or PS3 platform

Ok i knew i wasn't seeing things. I am in Dallas and my hard copy toysrus ad which i picked up at the store on sunday says sales prices valid dec 14-18. I went online to look at my ad and it shows a new ad valid for dec 19-20, the old ad with the rockband deal is no longer online. Why would our ad end on the 18th and others end on the 20th? That bites!

i just picked up an xbox360 for $130 plus it seems everyone has an xbox360 - ps3 owners seem more bluray fanatics -sales on a whole - wii>xbox360>ps3 |
