Wii Shop Insider Magazine deal..
Just wondering if this is legit? If so it is a great deal....

This is the official home of the $4.00 2000 Wii Points Cards! Your tiny investment could be the best purchase you've done in awhile or if you prefer, you also have the option of a 1 year subscription for $24.95 (12 issues + 2, 000 Wii Points per issue. 24, 000 points in total, for the price of a single 2, 000 Wii points card!). This subscription offer is available for a limited time only. All Wii Shop Insider issues are a minimum of 200 pages long, informative and fully enriched with the high possible resolution and color.

I received two emails from WiiDollars this past week. One with a tracking number, that doesn't register with USPS yet. I have posted the emails on my site.

It looks like a scam to rip advertisers off. I found this thread searching google for people who have actually received the magazine, because I was interested in advertising.

Basically, it seems that they send the wii points to keep people quiet about not getting the magazine. Oh... and you have to complain to get the points.

Thanks for the update -- glad you didn't get ripped off. But yeah, if they're scamming advertisers, they won't be around for long.

It's a Scram

I placed an order at the end of January. As of now, the end of April, I have not received my order. I have emailed Wii Shop Insider Magazine on a couple of occasions with no response.

Be careful of PayPal's fraud policy. You have to put the claim in within 45 days of the initial transaction. www.wiidollars.com does state that it may take up to 6 weeks for delivery. This is pretty standard for any subscription; sometimes they arrive sooner, others at around 6 weeks.

I was unaware of the 45 day limit and I also wanted to give Wii Shop Insider the benefit of the doubt and allow a reasonable amount of time for a subscription to arrive. PayPal won't even look at my case.

I have put reports into the following organizations, maybe something will come of it:

-The Better Business Bureau
-Internet Crime Complaint Center
-National Consumers League’s Fraud Center
-Visa (www.widollars.com has a "Verified by Visa" logo on the order page)

Good luck to anyone else that was screwed.
