Does anybody really think it's different percentage based on browser? No. It's a matter of cookies or whatever that's driving the "difference".

(Please update the following comment if the 10% changes with different keywords)

Current cashback is 10% as of 2:30AM EST 4/13 keywords "xbox 360"
Please be aware of the problems people have had in getting their Cash Back properly: http://forums.slickdeals.net/show...?t=1066257
You can use Firefox with any of the mentioned keywords and get the cashback link. Just install an extension called "IE Tab". It'll render any page you want in Firefox as IE. I'm using it and I'm getting cashback link in Firefox. <---- A lot of people can get cashback link just fine without "IE Tab" on firefox. No need for using IE. Only people running firefox on Mac may have issue.
Please keep this thread CLEAN, only post USEFUL INFORMATION, and dont repeat the same questions!.
This is
stackable e bates, which will give you an additional 3% CB.
1) make sure you are completely signed into both e bates and live.com cashback
2) use live.com to activate a session of ebay with the cashback banner
3) close the ebay page with the banner from step 2
4) from e bates, go to ebay (e bates should tell you it is opening a tracking ticket)
5) the e bates ebay page won't have the banner on it initially. simply search for something, and magically the live.com cashback banner will appear again
6) use buy it now and checkout per live.com's instructions
It is INSTANT Cashback now (most of the times) as of 2/26/09 1:00am EST (please be careful with this promise of instant cashback. it's generally not associated with a time, but rather whether you are completely signed into live.com before you click on the link for cashback from the search page) Some people still have to wait. It may depend on the RETURN POLICY of the eBay seller.
All About Live Cashback - Read First!
-Basically, create a Live.com ID first, then open a live cashback account and enter all of your information.
-When the account is set up, log into
www.live.com and do a search for an item.
-Click the first link with the 8-15% cashback logo that takes you to Ebay
-Find an item on ebay you want to purchase. It must be a "buy it now" item.
-Click buy it now and make sure the green "25% cashback" logo is displayed on the second page before you hit "confirm purchase".
-You must pay with the same Paypal account linked to your Ebay account within an hour of winning the item. The green cashback logo should also show up when you log into Paypal to complete the transaction.
-Check your eBay message within the next 5 minutes, you should be getting a message that says "You've Got Cashback!" and the content will have a button "Get Cashback" on the right side. Click on it.
-Now it should bright you back to live.com page, asking you to log into your live.com account to claim your cashback.
-It may take up to 2 days for your cashback amount to appear in your live.com account. Be patient. If at the end of the 2 days you still don't see anything, you can contact live.com cashback support via the support page in live.com
It can take 24-48 hours for the money to show up as pending in your cashback account. Be patient. 60 days later the funds will be released and you can cash out with Paypal.
Ebay cashback is limited to $200 per transaction and 12 transactions per year. $800 is the minimum transaction total needed to get $200 at 25% off.
works with keyword:
xbox
kindle
onkyo
p90x
apple ipod
garmin nuvi
roomba
sansa fuze
toys - 10%
iphone - 10%
Firefox 3 on Mac is not triggering the banner. Safari 4 worked. Internet Explorer also works.
Some people have reported seeing the link to CB on the right side of the page, may need to refresh several times. If you do see the link, jump at it as no idea if they're working on changing the amount or not!
DETAILS:
Only applies to Buy It Now items paid for using PayPal. For example, go to
http://www.live.com/ (type it into your browser, don't click the link in this post) and search for a Wii. Check the paid results at the top and right for a link to eBay with the "live search cashback" icon. Click it, find a Buy It Now auction for a Wii (or whatever you want for that matter). Discount should be listed on checkout page.

For those of you using Firefox, you
do not need to use IETab. Simply disable any AdBlock you have enabled for that page. I made this rookie mistake my first time attempting to use Live Cashback on eBay as well
Basic Instructions- Create a Windows Live ID [live.com] first, if you don't already have one.
- Open a live cashback account [live.com] using your Windows Live ID and enter all of your information.
- When the account is set up, proceed to live.com [live.com] and do a search for an item [live.com].
- Click the first link with the golden dollar symbol that says "You may get 14% with PayPal if eligible". You will be redirected to eBay.
- Find an item on eBay you want to purchase. It must be a "buy it now" item!
- Click buy it now and make sure the green "14% cashback" logo is displayed on the second page before you hit "confirm purchase".
- You must pay with the same Paypal account linked to your Ebay account within an hour of winning the item. The green cashback logo should also show up when you log into Paypal to complete the transaction.
- Check your eBay message within the next 5 minutes, you should be getting a message that says "You've Got Cashback!" and the content will have a button "Get Cashback" on the right side. Click on it.
- Now it should bright you back to live.com page, asking you to log into your live.com account to claim your cashback.
Notes:- It can take 24-48 hours for the money to show up as pending in your cashback account.
- Be patient. 60 days later the funds will be released and you can cash out with Paypal. For some transactions (random), the cashback will be instant!
Limitations:
Ebay cashback is limited to $200 per transaction and 20 transactions (thanks
shopnbuy!) per eBay account. There is also an annual $2,500 limit per year per person.
(See full eBay agreement here [ebay.com])
FAQ
Q:
What do I do if I've already maxed out 20 transactions on my ebay account?
A: Open a new eBay account, but use the same live.com and PayPal account.
Q:
Do you still get the cashback if you use a coupon?
A:
With the exception of eBay promotions, coupons and gift certificates, Cashback Rewards cannot be combined with any other offer on purchases on www.eBay.com. (Quoted from eBay's cashback TOS [ebay.com])
Q:
How do I get an eBay coupon?
A: Ebay sends coupons to random people. No one is sure about the reasoning behind who gets one and who doesn't. Check your email or your "my eBay" page to see if you got one. Some people claim that linking your PayPal account to your eBay account increases your odds of getting a coupon, as sometimes the eBay coupons actually come from PayPal.
Q:
I can't get the cashback to display!
Directly to the left of your Live user ID, cashback, and Options, it will list your country. If it is not displaying United States, click the country name, and change it to the United States.
If using Firefox, disable Ad-Blocker Plus (or any similar ad blockers)
