I'm also confused at the dimensions:

Dimensions: 20.35"W x 15.74"H x 6.96"D

The dimensions on the 19" are bigger:

Dimensions 21.1"W x 16.5"H x 7.6"D

hrmm sometimes they use the actual viewing area and sometimes they use the whole screen including the border - maybe thats it?

Was looking at this on the Acer website. Seems like for the 22" they report the display area while for the 19" they include the body as well.
I was looking at the 19" in Target the other day and I found the 19" wide format very annoying to look at. Anybody feels the same way or is it just me?

well, its only 900 vertical res which isnt too hot. And also, was that display model running the native res?

Well either newegg or staples is wrong because these are newegg's specs:

21.5" x 16" x 7"

after all this headache I just went with the 19".
