it is indeed. ah I was waiting for these things to get discounted. However at the rate of the economy I see these games hitting $20 very soon.

i was a fan of the original but for me this was a huge dissappointment - the game's physics engine sucks, the graphics are nothing special (it's a step back in many ways, the ground is completely static, very little particles, and the actual modeling of the environment is pretty poor with stretched textures relative to what we are seeing in other games today), the gameplay is derivative, and the control scheme makes you scream in agony (truly the ps3 controller is terrible for all the functions they tried to make you achieve, like ramming left and right)...

i recommend buying PURE instead - it's a much better use of money, far more interesting of a game, and you can find it for around 15 bucks now - whatever the case, avoid pacific rift until it is below 20 bucks

yeah, well maybe $30. either way I see it dropping quick. and I would def recommend this game over Pure. The previous poster complains, but that's what Motorstorm is like.

Personally I think it's a great game, just too many other games this holiday season. Plus the recession, it's really hurting the sales of these 2nd tier games on people's lists.
