    Cabela's - Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm Compact ~$410 (~$360 with $50 Rebate)
    I was at Cabela's last night and they were selling the S&W M&P 9mm Compact for $499.99 (normally sold for $549.99. I signed up for the Cabela Visa card and that took off another $100.00 and brought the price down to $399.99. I also brought in a $20 off coupon that I printed off of their website which brought it down to $379.99. With background check, taxes, etc, price OTD was $410.00!

    Get the $20 off coupon at: http://information.cabelas.com/ca...100_122108 (use any random email and print out the page)

    This is a solid compact gun. Hopefully this deal helps others. SD could always use more gun deals.

    Forgot about the $50.00 off rebate or 2 free mags from S&W (Thanks JackHandy). Personally, I sent in for the 2 free mags. The Cabela's in Hamburg, PA had 7 of these left when I bought mine yesterday.

    Very nice deal for those that couldn't take advantage of the budsgunshop LEO deal for $350. These are usually running a little over $500.

    Now if only there was a Cabela's closer to me!!!!

    You can also get 2 free mags with the rebate versus $50. I sent in for the $50 with my S&W purchase from academy.

    Only Cabela's close to me is across the border into MN and can't buy the pistol there. This is a good deal. I don't think the CC sign up is worth $100 discount personally, but even without that, it would be competitive with online prices after shipping and FFL fee.

    Personally, I am not a fan of the M&P series, but this all comes down to preference.
