We recently had ours go out after only 30 years. Darn Whirlpool just doesn't last.
Called out a repair company and paid $70 to be told repairs would be over $300. Lucked out and found a almost new dryer on EBay (6 month old model) for $49.95. Our other plan was to check the local Lowe's for discounted models that were either slightly damaged or discontinued models. Did that when we bought a new washer and saved $200. |
