clothes dryer

We need a clothes dryer desperately and are trying to decide whether to repair or replace--TIA for any help

We recently had ours go out after only 30 years. Darn Whirlpool just doesn't last.
Called out a repair company and paid $70 to be told repairs would be over $300.
Lucked out and found a almost new dryer on EBay (6 month old model) for $49.95.
Our other plan was to check the local Lowe's for discounted models that were either slightly damaged or discontinued models. Did that when we bought a new washer and saved $200.

wow 30 years! I wish! This one is 6-8 years old and runs but does not heat

check your owner's manual, some tell you how to replace the fuse, which might be the cause that your unit doesn't heat anymore.
