This will go great with the free Quickbooks Pro (which it requires) that I picked up at Staples last week. The offer was probably extended because to have to buy QB. Most people will also want a cash drawer, credit card reader, etc and the easiest place to buy it is on their web site since most places don't stock them. Good revenue raiser for Intuit so they might keep the offer open for a while.

Thanks OP downloaded and installed. Also got set up to take credit cards from the link in the Wiki and received a free Quickbooks PRO 2009 download and a free USB swiper for face to face transactions. This WAS a slick deal!!!

I downloaded it, but then I went to the forums on their own site, and the comments are brutal- for the most part very unhappy users. I suppose it might do for a very basic operation, but even though I downloaded it (the price was right!) I think I will skip the headaches on this one.

You have to have a 32bit OS, i have 64 bit so install failed. BOO :/

I didn't complete the installation for keeping the license valid for later use.
I believe it is a full version, not a trial or limited version.

If you don't want to install it now, try to register for downloading it to get the license code and product code for the future usage.
