Liz Claiborne, the company, is in financial trouble. They have an OK plan to reinvigorate sales, but in this economy, it may well be inadequate. In addition to the Liz stores, they own several other chains: Juicy Couture, Lucky Brand Jeans, Kate Spade and Mexx. Juicy Couture is actually doing pretty well and Lucky is doing OK. But Kate Spade and Mexx are having serious problems.

That said, their clothes are of good quality and at the prices you can get them for here, who cares about the future of the company!
