    Consolidated TurboTax 2008 Deal Thread
I was searching for my own deal on TurboTax software and figured I'd find a consolidated thread. I didn't see one on here, so here's my attempt to consolidate the deals I currently see and still give reps where reps are due. If this isn't allowed, mods can feel free to delete/move/etc. Also, the threads below are all SD threads, but from both Freebies and Hot Deals forums as they showed up in both.

First, a comparison of TurboTax versions HERE [intuit.com].

    Current Deals:

Free StateFarm Thread - Free Deluxe, $20 Premier - BUT you need to be a StateFarm banking customer (not just insurance/stock holder). This is an unfortunate change from previous years

    T. Rowe Price 35% Discount

    Morgan Stanley 30% off

AAA 25% off online and 15% downloads

    15% Official Payments

Google Search (thanks a1sa) with other affiliates [google.com] - Varying between 0% and 15% off

Feel free to update the Wiki post if you find better deals!

Added to wiki -> Fidelity Investments - Save 25% on Federal and State Products regardless of being a customer. This should trump the State Farm deal.

Great thread. Will keep an eye on it. Hopefully will be able to get Deluxe for free after rebate as previous years.

EDIT: just noticed that the State Farm deal states "NOTE: Offer limited to the first 25,000 customers."

Anybody know of any tax programs (TurboTax or otherwise) that do comparison's on how to submit to get the best advantage. For example. Last year my wife and I submitted seperately because this gave us the biggest return. I had to enter the data for my wife and I twice each using TurboTax in order to see which way gives us the best benefit. Is there something out there that does this? (possibly the new version of Turbo Tax?)
