When I order things from amazon with standard shipping, 75% of the time I get my order in 2-3 days. Occasionally in 1 day. Other times it's backordered or rarely might take 4 or 5 days to get delivered. Is it the exact same way even if you have Amazon prime? Or do you get it in 1-2 days each and every time.

I tried signing up for many of these 1 month/ 3month offers and it did not allow me after the VERY first time. It askd for all informations and finally at the last page it says "Our records indicate blah blah...".
It may work, with a new browser (cache cleared/cookie cleared) , new email address, anew address, new CC...
Finally I bought 1 year for $60 and arranging sharing it with 2 other folks...$20 for one year prime is priceless.

With Prime I always got my order within 2 business days, at times though, it took them an additional day to actually ship the item = 3 days. Occassionally things show up super fast, but it depends where in the country they depart from. Before prime it was almost always 4-5 business days since I live in the middle of nowhere.

You're lucky. In San Diego, I can expect 5-7 days for delivery w/o Prime.

Is there still a way to just place the book in your checkout sign up for the 3 months of Amazon Prime and then remove the textbook without buying it again?

If not, those who don't want textbooks I've got a shopping list for you for my classes next semester lol.

Why do people post things like this thinking we'll be impressed? Not cool.
