*dead* J.A. Henckels 45pc Bellasera Flatware Set $55 at Amazon
I don't know if the design is for everyone, but I came close to buying this flatware set for $99 from Amazon a few days ago. The price dropped today to $54.99, which I think is a great deal for an 18/10 Henckels set. No word on if this is the "International" line, but the reviews are good.

Thanks. We needed new flatware badly and this is a fantastic deal. Macys and some other sites list this as the "Twin" line, not the "International" so it should be excellent quality and the reviews on the macys site are very good (as are the ones on amazon).

Anyone know the metal quality for running through the dishwasher? I have had 18/10 and got spots. Looking for something that would be for everyday use for family, I am not sure about the knife handle for kids small hands and being able to stack them in the flatware tray.

I was concerned about rust, too. The most recent review for this set on Macy's website states "The design is great, not too heavy and give an elegant feel. However, it needs to be completely dry after washing. I left it dry after hand wash then I found rust spots all over. Luckily when I rewash and dry it with paper towel the stains are gone. Not very convenient in term of maintenance. I then use it only for a special occasion with guests coming over. So it's not worth paying a high price for this set. I'm kinda disappointed with the reputation of this brand."

Thanks, I saw that review and then there was another review saying that they were lazy and put it in the dishwasher and the 'shine' was kept. I think I will keep mine for now, wife has been looking into the ones that are brushed, any opinions on the brushed one?

Henckels recommends that you use a drying cycle (heated drying I assume) in your dishwasher for their flatware. I imagine the problem comes, as it does with much cutlery, from letting the water sit on the flatware and dry slowly.

wow, seems like an awesome deal, after considering what Macy's was charging for them. however, that odd knife design is making me pass. i'm looking for an "everyday" set and that this one may be "too nice" to use so often.

    thanks anyway, OP.

Guys, just go to "world market" or the internet and get "bar keepers friend". I did and i got a set of some cheap flatware and it take rust spots off in like 5 seconds, it sooo awesome. Does like 1000 other things too as well as polishes.

BTW, Conformation by seeing a box on an ebay listing these are indeed the "TWIN" line not international, also stated on the below website:

    http://www.cutleryandmore.com/det...?SKU=14248

You can also see the twin stamp on the knife on their website:
