    Dell Vostro 220 Slim Tower: Intel Dual Core E2220 2.4GHz, Vista Business w/ Bonus Windows XP Pro downgrade 3GB DDR2, 250GB HDD 16x DVD+/-RW, $429 plus shipping
    This is a better than the deal that was posted on the 10th, 3GB memory and 250 GB HD This desktop is quiet and small.
    shipping is $35 + tax in most states.

    I bought this computer and the selling point for me was XP Pro and 3GB memory. The monitor is just OK but Windows Vista Business Bonus is a much better Vista than is being offered in the other systems for those that want to keep Vista. This is a priced right computer for business that now require more memory than ever before. I looked at other systems deals that were offered by Dell back to the beginning of December and this is the best deal for me.

    $429 + SH + tree ($489.30 del) Dell charged me sales tax on the shipping and donation which are not taxable in Mass, but that's a fight for a later day.

    Good price as you can substract $160 by removing the monitor. However, any upgrades will kill the deal. $125 to go from 3gb to 4GB, Add $240 to go from E2220 to E8500.....

    Wish it included a core 2 duo, then id consider it. I really want a new desktop, but it seems that Dell has deals like this every other day.

    You are right. That's what I did. I didn't notice that my total went up $80 when I click on select 17"-19" monitor.

    Just got my 220s in the mail. Can I upgrade the video card and sound card ? I dont see where I would be able to fit any upgraded cards. Also, how can I add a second hard drive ? I see the bay, but only what appears to be one extra free power cable..and how the heck do I access the second hard drive bay ?
