Sherpani Sleeve (Small) @ rei.com - $11.83, Medium or Large $14.83 + S/H or free delivery to REI store
This sleeve is soooo nice. It's a hard-case and usually retails for around $35-40. I found it at rei.com in two different sizes...

    Small
    was $34.95, now $11.83

    Medium
    was $39.95, now $14.83

    Large
    was $44.95, now $14.83

Office Sherpani 15" or 17" Laptop Sleeve Cases $21 or $15

REI has Sherpani Laptop Sleve (Medium, up to 15" laptops) on clearance for $15. Free shipping when you ship to store (locator) otherwise it's $6. Thanks sukilakix
Large version (fits up to 17" laptops) is also available for the same price.
Note, these are advertised as sleeves, but they are hard cases.

Very cute! I don't have an REI anywhere near me tho, so the shipping wipes out the deal.

As soon as I see the word "sleeve" I'd discard it. Why? Simple, just think about where you would put the accessories for your laptop. The sleeve concept simply disregard the presence of accessories. Maybe I am old fashioned. But I am uncomfortable just carrying my laptop without bringing the power plug and a mini mouse; I am equally uncomfortable putting my laptop and its accessories into different containers. Yeah, I know, there is the specially designed sleeve that allows the attachment of an accessory bag, but still most manufacturers don't do that.

And I am also a smart @ss, because I DO NOT use 0.01 cents; instead, I use 1 cent or $0.01. Oh, if you still like 0.01 cents, let me give you one whole cent and then you will owe me 0.99 cents.

The green is incredibly cute! I wish I could find something like this for my HP 14 inch wide screen lappy. This is such a common size, yet sleeves for them are nearly impossible to find!

Thanks OP but unfortunately these will not work fo me

That's your opinion. I've got a laptop 12" bag for my EEE PC, and it perfectly fits the netbook (in its manufacturer sleeve), with room for the AC adapter and a few other peripherals without being too bulky.

Improvise and you can accomplish anything friend.

So... try a 15"? Good enough? Or buy the manufacturer sleeve, then get the large version to carry both the laptop and accessories?

Agreed. High MSRP does not equal quality. Still a good deal.
